If you could chose a new surname what would you go for?

I need a new one.

No contact with family so I don’t want to go back to my maiden name. Divorced from husband and he is getting remarried so I don’t want his name either.

I don’t know where to start with looking for a new one.

My mother’s maiden name is awful and so is her mothers!

I love Lewis as a surname (but hate it as a Christian name).

Or another Welsh one. Thomas, Hughes, Morgan.

I’m not Welsh and have no links there, but I love the names.

I once knew someone whose surname was Daisychain and I wish I had asked her if she had chosen it for herself or it was a family name.

George Rainbird was a wine writer.

How about Longbottom or Sidebottom, as if anyone would choose such a surname !
