What pointless 'talent' do you have?

Just talking with a friend about pointless 'talents' and wondered what yours are Smile

She was working out when she could next have paracetamol and I just said it immediately, when I was a teen I spent a lot of time having inhalers for my asthma every 4 hours, so it turns out I can still work out 4 hours immediately without thinking about it

She chipped in that she can fold her tongue in to a w shape

TellMeItsNotTrue · 22/08/2018 10:20

Grin that is brilliant, though you do know we will want to see pictures now WinkGrin

I can fold my ears and stick them inside the earholes, and they stay there. Then I can raise my eyebrows and the ears unfold themselves.

I am still waiting for the call from Hollywood.

Burlea · 22/08/2018 10:24

I can play the spoons. If the band doesn't turn up I'm available at a cheap rate. Ha ha. It's best when I've had a few drinks.

ShackUp · 22/08/2018 10:29

I used to be able to programme any song into a ringtone down the pub but there's no call for it these days!!

TSSDNCOP · 22/08/2018 10:31

I can guess the year 9/10 on PopMaster

TellMeItsNotTrue · 22/08/2018 10:34

My sister has just contributed that she knows the alphabet backwards, she learned it when she was 17 because she thought if she had any alcohol she would have to do it Grin so she put a lot of effort in to learning it so she could outsmart 'them' even she doesn't know who 'them' refers to Grin

I think she watched too many American programmes with people being pulled over by the police and having to prove they weren't over the limit, she doesn't even drive now nevermind then Grin she is the ditzy sister though (she admits this!) Grin

I used to be able to make a loud POP noise using the tip of my tongue against the roof of my mouth. Haven't tried it for years now, so maybe my pointless talent has vanished?!

KurriKurri · 22/08/2018 10:39

I'm good at anagrams (never needed for anything except crosswords)

I have one eye that is much bigger than the other, so I can close my eyes then open the big eye in a wink and startle people Grin (Although having a big eye is more a God given gift than a talent Grin)

I can also make up songs on the spot to sing to my dog - along the lines of 'who's a little dumpling, dumpling boy ? let's get his breakfast and find him a toy' He's not a very discerning audience but they make him laugh and stick his tongue out Grin

murphys · 22/08/2018 10:41

I can touch the tip of my nose and the bottom of my chin with my tongue.

Not at the same time though, as that would be something amazing

Grin
Bedheadretention · 22/08/2018 10:49

I can make the water drop sound by flicking my cheek like Cameron in Ferris Buellers Day Off. I can also make a wood pigeon 'coo coo' noise by making a small opening with my thumbs in my cupped hands and blowing into it. I'm talented I amGrin

FourFriedChickensDryWhiteToast · 22/08/2018 10:50

I can spell.

MozzchopsThirty · 22/08/2018 10:53

I can get into the lotus position and then walk on my knees
No idea how as I don't do yoga and am not particularly flexible

MyGastIsFlabbered · 22/08/2018 10:59

I can fit my fist in my mouth

Malibucyprus · 22/08/2018 11:08

I can do the W thing with my tongue, saw someone on Fun House years ago do it, had a go and hey presto.

I can see a vehicle only once, and remember the registration number, same with phone numbers, only need to be told once. I know the reg of every car I have ever owned, also parents, and neighbours cars from when I was a kid. (Not much of a talent, just a bit geeky Grin )

SDTGisAnEvilWolefGenius · 22/08/2018 11:47

I commit the Tour de France riders to memory each year. This year there were 176 riders, and I can reliably remember 169 of them.

I can also touch my eyeballs, and can cross my eyes, and move one eyeball independently of the other. These skills are very useful for freaking people out.

DarlingNikita · 22/08/2018 11:52

I am spookily good at identifying who people mean from their vague descriptions of them e.g. 'you know, black and white film dancer, woman, sounds like a man...' is obviously Cyd Charisse.

People text me with questions like the above and I always get them right Grin

BuffysFavouriteStake · 22/08/2018 11:54

I can pick things up with my toes.

Mehmehmeh19 · 22/08/2018 11:56

I'm shit hot at making mini quiches big ones not so much!

BluthsFrozenBananas · 22/08/2018 11:56

I'm very good at neat, freehand lettering. I can replicate fonts, do bold and italic, change sizes and everything. It's a shame there's absolutely no use for it.

iklboo · 22/08/2018 11:57

I can put mascara on with my mouth closed Grin

MargoLovebutter · 22/08/2018 11:59

I can write with both hands - although not at the same time. Downside is I am incapable of differentiating between left & right!

JaretsGirlfren · 22/08/2018 12:01

I can hold a beer bottle in my cleavage classy

ivenoideawhatimdoing · 22/08/2018 12:02

I can make my boobs dance to Toxic

Changedname220 · 22/08/2018 12:02

I can put my foot on peoples shoulder whilst standing up !
