How many times do we have to tell you? Yes we still all hate summer!

(But tentatively looking forward to autumn.)

I felt a bit less sweaty than last time. Hot and muggy here today. Supposed to be 17 and rainy here tomorrow, though! Hurrah!

Oh Becca, I do hope you feel a bit better soon.

Well, I'm obviously rash and irresponsible as I changed to a winter duvet yesterday. I had felt a bit chilly for the last few nights so thought it was time.

RedneckStumpy · 09/09/2018 12:08

We had our first frost here last night.

FurryDice · 10/09/2018 08:19

No frost here yet. A high of 20 today and 22 tomorrow

Still hot here, indoors is horrible. Outside a bit better. Still unwell.

SapphireSeptember · 10/09/2018 09:56

Hello again! This thread dropped off my list. Sad
I've been off sick for over a week now, I keep feeling like I'm going to be sick but nothing's happening (except for last Monday.) Off to the doctor's this afternoon. (I am milking this for all it's worth, although I reckon it's stress/anxiety.)
But I've now moved into my new home! Wednesday was tough, I felt utterly miserable and did an awful lot of crying. Thursday was better and now I feel fine (except for the sicky bit. Envy )
Becca I haven't got very far in researching how to cross a Dementor and an aloe vera either! Sad Hope you feel better soon.

Well with two of us working on it were sure to manage it

SapphireSeptember · 10/09/2018 13:15

Yes! That's the spirit! I wonder if Newt Scamander could help?

FurryDice · 10/09/2018 14:08

Ah, shit, I meant to wish you happy birthday on Weds, Sapphire! Curse my blasted memory. Sorry you had such a horrible day. Belated Cake

We just need a time machine and we'll be set!

SapphireSeptember · 10/09/2018 14:33

Oooh, cake! Thank you Furry!

Becca A capital idea! I love Newt (and Eddie Redmayne!) Yay for Hufflepuffs!

FurryDice · 11/09/2018 20:32

Been raining here but it’s super muggy. Have 3 horrible days forecast for next week: Tuesday weds and Thursday fucking 23, 24 and 23!

PISS OFF!

SapphireSeptember · 11/09/2018 22:02

Oh shit! Bloody weather! Yeah, piss off heat!

Becca19962014 · 12/09/2018 10:25

FFS. It is sunny and hot again today.

It's September. SEPTEMBER now piss off heat, it's not supposed to be 20c at 10:30 in the sodding morning.

FurryDice · 12/09/2018 19:13

I AM SO TIRED OF THIS SUMMER! for the next two weeks nothing below 20, mostly 21s with a really enraging scorchio 24 forecast for Tuesday. I just want to SCREAM

FurryDice · 13/09/2018 05:11

Hmm. It would appear that most thread denizens have now fucked off, or gave this in their ‘I’m on’ list which disappears once a thread is kind of inert.

So it will just be me belming into the void then.

ARGHHHHH!

Well i am here. Up since four with ds who is sn and having a few seizures to start the day , a pretty regular occurance.
He has breathing problems and uses a bipap machine and oxygen at night and this summer has been a nightmare!
Most of the 6 weeks hols was spent in hospital wirh a severe chest infection / pneumonia as he struggles massively with humidity so you can imagine what fun this summer has been so i am glad to see the back of it ( whenever that actually hapoens thst is ).

FurryDice · 13/09/2018 05:24

Oh @flapjackfairy that is traumatic and so stressful. Hope it gets cooler soon and his condition improves

I have never been a summer fan myself but this year has taken it to new levels. I am much happier now the nights are drawing in. Have just got to survive next week and spider season and all will be well.

MotherofPearl · 13/09/2018 12:46

I'm still lurking Furry, and bellowing a loud NO! with you when confronted with the forecast for early next week. 22c here in the NW on Tuesday Angry As Becca has point out, it is SEPTEMBER. Not bloody July. I just want it over now.

Sorry to hear how badly your DS has been affected by the heat and humidity flapjack. More reasons to hate this never ending summer.

flapjackfairy · 13/09/2018 13:14

Thankyou Furry and Mother ! X

FurryDice · 13/09/2018 18:22

It’s the noise as much as anything at this point, for me. I can just about cope with the temps (although I’m heartily sick of the sunshine) but it means that everyone is still OUTSIDE ALL THE TIME and I just want some fucking peace.

Barbecue season should be over by now, goddammit! No more paddling pools! All I can smell is fags and weed!
