Yesterday was so nice and autumny when I went out. Leaves on the ground, breeze, rain, sensible temperature - ok it was 19c so still warm for the time of year but manageable!!

Lovely, lovely rain yesterday which meant the natives (neighbours) mostly stayed in. A high of 17 forecast for today which is enough to do and dry some washing. Happy with that.

Not getting far with research

I was starting to think it was feeling rather autumnal today. Then my reality check pointed out that I still wasn't wearing a coat or jacket.

Although I did feel my first hint of winter today. I caught a cold.

It’s suppisedly 8 degrees outside and yet 19 in my bedroom (which is ok, just wtf?) I don’t actually understand how, even when there is little sun, my bedroom remains at such a temperature?

I think it can just take a really long time for buildings to cool. Our house seems to have settled at 20, despite windows being open at any given chance.

I'm at the swing park. Pretty toasty when the sun is out, mild when it's not. I saw someone with a full on winter coat. It's not even light jacket weather. Grouch.

I feel cold though room is warm. I'm really not at all well today. I think it's 'just' a cold but on top of everything else it's bloody awful.
