About sleb twaddle - after the 1d threads there were loads of TAAT saying sleb twaddle should be removed and nearly all of the recent threads were deleted. These days I don't stray away from twaddle so
i have no idea whether MN has collectively taken exception to TayTimIsm, but I'd guess not, as no-one from chat or AIBU has come over to tell us we're all losers for posting about Taylor Swift.

I normally post in SN threads so don't know what happened with 1D, but have kicked around MN for long enough to know Sleb Twaddle isn't the most loved topic.

Someone mentioned CH he also seems to own about 3 t-shirts. He does have a slightly more diverse range of trainers. I think TayTay appreciates the lack of threat to her space in the wardrobe. Either that or it helps with continuity during the photo opportunities.

Ssh! I don't want them to overhear us . . .but I don't think AIBU or Chat care about TayTo. It's like a fight club over there atm. It's always the same in the summer. I think posters get stressed about holiday childcare and come on MN to get all their frustration and aggression out. I usually take a break from MN in the summer because it's way too vicious for me.

I like how these threads aren't nasty - I think it's because TayTo are the gift that keeps on giving so we have no need to dredge up any nasty stuff to ridicule them over - they're doing it all by themselves.

I too didn't know about the 1D threads. They sound terrifying. I haven't done an advanced search because I'm worried my account might be closed down, and a car with dark windows might turn up at my house.

Every single one of the 1D threads was deleted, I shit you not, some for bonkers fakebaby tinhatting, one because it got linked to by heat, and a couple because some prominent posters took exception to bantering about popstars and there was an enormous bunfight. I loved it all because I love conspiracy theories, boybands and bunfights, and to me speculating on whether Harry St*les is gay is no different from analysing ToTim's shoes or TayTay's control freakery. But most others on MN disagree with that!

For me, sleb twaddle is the one place these days you can have genuine fun and chat on MN. I love the fact ToTim was 'flaunting' his blotchy tan and can't quite work out what the DM is implying he did to get it - fall asleep with his iphone across his mouth? Have a disastrous chemical peel?

I use a thing called a pomodoro timer so I work for 25 mins then have a 5 min break, so I'll probably just be posting at 25 min intervals!! Have just had lunch, thankfully not a ham sandwich, that will not something I'll be seeking out on Twitter.
