I never knew that Zebra now that's a family get together that would be worthy of the paps! Smile

FelicityGubbins · 10/07/2016 14:40

Two new SBoS articles, one has Thor and his missus have a gander at something on a mobile (I like to imagine that they are laughing at TayTo) and one about Tim-O-Tay out for dinner somewhere with Tay dressed in the style of a naice respectable mid thirties woman Hmm

nicenewdusters · 10/07/2016 15:34

I love your list of going off the rails behaviour Whentheship. I haven't done any of those things, and am feeling a bit sorry for myself now. I can demolish a tube of Pringles quicker than TayTo can spot the nearest photographer, but it's hardly rock "n" roll.

LadyCassandra - maybe your removal men could do a quick detour via the Thor film set ? I don't know if you have a functioning government yet. If you don't you're in good company with the UK. Mr Murdoch's papers are busily trashing one of our PM candidates, so clearly his money is on the other horse in the race. So, same shit, different day.

Zebra - you have an amazing fund of sleb knowledge. I was having breakfast in a hotel years ago when I spotted the guy who played Reg Holdsworth in Coronation St. having his full English. He looked pretty glum and seemed a bit off with the staff. I can't imagine he has an illustrious dynasty.

Donatellalymanmoss · 10/07/2016 15:38

I have never met any one from coronation street but in an old job I once took a message from Sid Owen (aka Ricky Butcher) to call someone back. So technically you could say he gave me his number......

nicenewdusters · 10/07/2016 15:44

Has your pomodoro (spelling?) timer gone off Donatella ?! Hope you're getting a bit of a rest from all your hard work this weekend. When you passed on the message were you tempted to do a Bianca and say "Message for you, Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiicccckkkkyyyy called" ?

Oh, and the picture of Tim in the restaurant with TayTay. I know it's a running joke but FFS he is wearing the.same.shoes. AGAIN !!!!!!!!!!!!

EveryoneElsesMumSaidYes · 10/07/2016 16:01

I quite like that dress, don't like the heels though.
Timtoms shoes are getting a bit boring now, maybe he's one of those underpackers I've been reading about on another thread, maybe he just packed 1 pair of shoes, 1 quilted jacket, 2 pairs of jeans and a couple of t shirts

SmellyFartado · 10/07/2016 16:38

TayTay is quite the changeling. A few weeks ago it was the platinum Bob and knee high gladiator heels and minidress. A few weeks on, she's dressing like sensible Debbie from Accounts.

Not like Tim with the grey shoes he may have to be surgically removed from such is the attachment.

I for one would love to see TayTay having an epic Miley-esque meltdown with prosthetic penis & flashing bits when the romance with Tim goes tits up. I would link a pic to Miley in said garb but it could be expensive providing you lot with brain bleach firstly for the trauma. It's an image that can never be unseen.

Freshprincess · 10/07/2016 17:27

DM caption of day 'The busty blonde walked behind a man in a white shirt'
Incisive journalism at its peak.

Donatellalymanmoss · 10/07/2016 17:28

I think this may be the closest we'll get to seeing TayTay have a bit of an off-script message.

Of how I wish Ricky's message had been for Bianca! Unfortunately, it was a rather dull enquiry about his Porsche!

I've just had a relaxing afternoon watching Andy Murray win Wimbledon, will be back to work once the kids are in bed.

FrayedHem · 10/07/2016 17:35

The only person seen on TV I have met was the Diet Coke man (the it's 11.30. Objectification of a muscly man) He was doing a promotion in McDonald's and a colleague and I shamefully joined the queue to get a signed card. (We were genuinely there for a hangover lunch, so make up free and looking ropey). He signed mine "big hugs" and my colleague got the hump because hers was "best wishes."

Other than that Martin Clunes pushed to the front of a queue I was in.

No bbq pics so I am down another 50p. I think Tay-Tay is trying to get a sexier image but it's not really working that way.

TheAntiBoop · 10/07/2016 17:39

I think she's dressing older because she wants to stop people comparing him to her dad

SlowJinn · 10/07/2016 17:40

Yay!! ANDY MURRAY!!

OK where were we? Ricky off of Eastenders drives a porsche? Worra twat. And TomTim is an underpacker.

All is well.

Carry on the good work, twaddlers, we are the equivalent of The Squad (without necessarily being thin, young, blonde, wealthy and Caucasian).

TheAntiBoop · 10/07/2016 17:47

Well one out of five isn't bad I suppose!

My squad needs to be cynical, witty, ageless, of proportions that suggest they wouldn't turn down a starter AND dessert, and of adequate resources to have access to this thread

Donatellalymanmoss · 10/07/2016 17:51

cynical, witty, ageless I want that on my gravestone.

nicenewdusters · 10/07/2016 18:01

Can I just add my YAY for Murray. Now he's a bit of a love, if I bumped into him I'd be a little star struck, proper talent and seems like a nice guy.

Thank you for not sharing the prosthetic penis picture of Miley Smelly. I've already relived my Jeremy Clarkson dreams on this thread, my mind can only cope with so much horror.

Have been thinking about the few SLEBs I've seen in real life. They've generally been a bit random and odd. Justin Timberlake in a lift at The Dorchester, about 9 years ago. I was only walking past it going to the ladies. Didn't intend going in. His minder was about 6"8 so JT looked tiny next to him. JT did a little smile at us, the minder had a kind of approach this lift and I'll kill you look. We went straight to the toilets.

nicenewdusters · 10/07/2016 18:10

That sounds like a fab squad Anti.

Most of my close friends are starter and dessert people. I can't stand it when you sit down to a meal in a group and 1 person goes shall we just have mains and dessert, or starter and mains ? When I was younger and cared what people thought I'd go along with it. Now I just say I'm planning on having all 3.

This is even more enjoyable when half the group are talking about how many points your dessert would be at WeightWatchers ! As for dessert sharers, don't get me started. If I see a second spoon approaching my profiteroles.......!

Whentheshipgoesdown · 10/07/2016 18:13

Oh I do love Andy Murray too. He'd be an excellent addition to the squad. I saw Spider from coronation st at a cashpoint on Piccadilly in 1997 (niche) and I think it was Len Fairclough at a garage in Manc.other than that bumped into Freddie Prinze junior. Hopeless lack of celeb action but from my limited sample agree with the surprisingly small. Except footballers, who are surprisingly tall IRL.

TheAntiBoop · 10/07/2016 18:19

Nothing gives me the rage more when I go out for dinner with dh and the waiter brings two spoons when I order dessert. If he was having a fecking dessert he would have ordered one and he damn well isn't sharing mine!

And relax....

nicenewdusters · 10/07/2016 18:23

Going a bit off-piste but can I just add my favourite sleb spot. Was at Victoria Station, many years ago, when a very tall man, dark suit, briefcase etc, slipped over spectacularly on the concourse. Ran over to help and saw it was Dennis Healey MP. He did have huge eyebrows and massive hair, and was really tall (apart from when he was lying on the floor!)

He was so lovely to everyone that helped, really laughed at himself in that big, booming voice he had.

(Oh, and Claire Balding spoke briefly to my daughter off camera at Trooping of the Colour a few years back. She is now officially loved in our house).

I'll stop boring you all now. Over and out.

TheAntiBoop · 10/07/2016 18:26

The only celeb who surprised me was Damian Lewis who is taller than I thought he would be and better looking in real life. Quite striking.

Rhys ifans on the other hand looked like he had just climbed out of a skip and was very short and scrawny. He was with sienna Miller at the time and she looked uncomfortably thin. I felt a bit sorry for her

TheAntiBoop · 10/07/2016 18:27

Love the Denis Henley story! You have to admire a politician who can genuinely laugh at themselves

Donatellalymanmoss · 10/07/2016 19:36

Loving the celebrity spotting stories.

I saw Andrew Lincoln once, literally took my breath away he's properly handsome.

Cocolepew · 10/07/2016 19:43

I post this alllllll the time, but anyhoo.
I tripped over Dave Grohls feet backstage at a Nirvana gig.

He helped me up and copped a feel of my boob. The right one.

TheAntiBoop · 10/07/2016 19:47

So when cocole attends the party next year she will be partially exposing her right boob to show off the tattoo'grohl woz ere'

Donatellalymanmoss · 10/07/2016 19:51

coco That is awesome. Have you washed it since?
