I don't think acclaim on the English stage is enough for Tom. He wants glitz, he wants glamour, he wants as Property has said, everything that Eddie Redmayne has. Especially the Oscar.

I don't think Tom will have what Eddie has though. He'll have a very good career, but he's not grounded like Eddie and not as talented, in my opinion. Eddie is obviously very pretty and he's done Burberry etc (not my type) but Tom's looks are more unconventional and although some find him gorgeous, others find him odd looking and unattractive.

Some people find Eddie R odd looking and unattractive... I used to think he's roetty than had a closer look rubber lips.

Eddie and Tom are both a bit delicate looking for my taste. I need someone a bit more hale and hearty. Someone who could walk for ten miles with a sheep over each shoulder, whistling merrily as he went. Eddie and Tom wouldn't be able for that, they'd be following behind in a sedan chair fanning themselves.

I know some people do, but I think opinions on his looks are much less split than with Tom, or he'd have had a contract too.

I don't know much about Cumberbatch, only seen him in Sherlock, but I think they share the same Young British actor space looks wise, both a bit odd looking, so I could see that, MrsJ.

I'm reading Amy Poehler's book at the moment and there's a section on wanting things too much. She reckons if you want success/fame/a particular role too too much, people smell the desperation and don't want to give it to you. I think Tom should read it
