american He is nice, I'm sure, or as nice as all slebs are when touting their wares. It is PR and he is an actor after all but he seems nice enough.
But, tis how it's done in the UK...We build 'em up then knock 'em down as soon as they look like they're starting to be a bit cocky. successful
Only exceptions are those with National Treasure Status.
I loved The night manager but found Tom to be a bit bland. A bit Keanu. I guess that was him acting 'enigmatic'. Nonetheless I enjoyed it. My other half then showed me him dancing to prove he did in fact have a personality.
I liked that too. Then saw the Graham Norton show where he did impressions and thought, fair enough, I can't do impressions. Saw him sucking up to Samuel L Jackson and I thought Well, it IS Samuel L Jackson.
But I now think it was probably better when I knew nothing about him at all. He will be fine if he gets Bond. Genuinely. He showed in The night manager he can do the kick ass part of that role. gloria it is worth seeing, if only for Olivia Coleman and Hugh Laurie and Tom Hollander, who steals every scene he's in. Just don't do what I did and try to get your hair cut like Elizabeth ''floating goddess'' Debicki. But seeing Tom being aloof, secretive and enigmatic rather than LookAt Me Geri style, might change your mind.
I haven't seen Tom as Loki but gather he did a good job.
The problem with seeming try hard though is you come over as desperate.
The problem with ubiquity is you lose your mystique.
The problem with inane grinning/dancing/posing in 70s playboy poses/ becoming a 'power couple' is that you start to lose your credibility.
He speaks very highly of me ;-)
no, actually he said ''haters never win'' so quite clearly, he is Tailor made (see what I did there?!) for Taylor ''haters gonna hate x5'' Swift.
