Do you have face blindness Tread? seriously...if you can't see the difference that's amazing!

queenceleste · 22/10/2014 20:02

I have to say, Liz Hurley, has clearly had teeth n pout done and forehead frozen but she still looks like herself and she's still very pretty.

Some women have faces that age better maybe. She started off incredibly pretty so maybe that's why. Also she hasn't gone mad with the surgery, either that or she has such good surgeons that they only do work that will enhance and not wreck what she has.

Lweji · 22/10/2014 20:10

FFS - we'd all look unrecognisable 15+ yrs ago.

Not at all. I have recently been in contact with university mates from 20 years ago. Most recognised me immediately.
I could easily recognise most, except a small few (who had put on a bit of weigh, for example, or started sporting face hair).

DontDrinkAndFacebook · 22/10/2014 20:12

She's 45. You do start to lose hair from your temples when you are 45. It doesn't mean there is anything wrong with her, other than she's getting old.

I think she looks much less unusual now - she was always had a very quirky sort of beauty before, and some of that unique character has gone, but she looks beautiful either way to me.

queenceleste · 22/10/2014 20:15

No i think she looks permanently startled. It aint natural to me.

Itsfab · 22/10/2014 20:19

She has said she hasn't had any work done and she is happy people think she looks different as she has been living a different healthier life.

Nancy66 · 22/10/2014 20:48

yeah that'll be it. Because being healthy always makes your eyes a different shape. It's a well known fact

noddyholder · 22/10/2014 20:52

I looked at a pic of me today at 25 and 49 and I am very different although my hair isn't going but I do look like I have aged like she has in some ways

duckwalk · 23/10/2014 01:35

www.theguardian.com/film/2014/oct/22/renee-zellweger-new-look-is-down-to-happy-healthy-lifestyle-not-surgery

IMO she's had a lot done, especially around the eyes. She's still attractive but does look unrecognizable.

DontDrinkAndFacebook · 23/10/2014 03:43

She must have a bloody good surgeon though because she doesn't have any of the classic hallmarks of having had loads of work done. She just looks like a totally different person except for the lips.

nooka · 23/10/2014 05:00

I think it's very difficult to tell from stills. I saw one photo when she looked very different from her 'Bridget Jones' look, and another when she just looked older. It looks to me as if her hairline has receded and it has made her face look longer and slimmer. Most of the side by side comparisons are studio shots from 10-15 years ago which were probably not just staged but enhanced, compared to a candid shot at an event. I live in North America where we have the Enquirer which specialises in crazy looking photos of celebs, many of which are only vaguely recognisable. Some photos just aren't very flattering!

Nancy-Grin

elportodelgato · 23/10/2014 07:07

This makes me so desperately sad. She was a lovely looking woman and now she is an identikit Hollywood blonde. What is wrong with society that women feel they have to do these brutal things to themselves?

EmilyGilmore · 23/10/2014 07:12

You know, I think it's partly (partly!) the tan. We're used to her looking very pale. She's got that Californian look going on now, highlighted hair too. Her hair colour used to be flatter.

Lweji · 23/10/2014 09:53

That is a good point too.
She does look very dark, compared to the previous pale skin.
I think tans also show the wrinkles more than white skin, which may make her look older too and less plump than before.

ATombWithoutAFoof · 23/10/2014 10:18

She looks perfectly fine, and if you saw her in the street would wouldn't think there was anything wrong with her, but she looks nothing like her previous self. Ageing never makes your eyes bigger.

Of course she can do what she likes to herself, but, given that she gets work by being, er, Renee Zellweger, it's a bit weird she now doesn't look like herself a few years older.

noddyholder · 23/10/2014 11:11

Oh god my eyes are bigger I think Maybe its a condition Grin zellweggers

DameDiazepamTheDramaQueen · 23/10/2014 12:07

Oh yes a tan definitely ages me tooGrin SHE'S HAD PLASTIC SURGERY, AND TONS OF IT!

Have it or don't have it but all this 'healthy living, peaceful life style' crap pisses me right off, it's bollox.

It's really strange. She doesn't look like someone who has had bad surgery, she just looks entirely different!

I don't believe that nothing has been done, or that it is down to healthy living etc.

Bizarre.

Riverland · 23/10/2014 12:36

Suntan, different hair and eyebrows, and a very different expression.

She used to look pert, with pale puffy skin and red lippie.

She looks relaxed now and less puffy, like she's given up gluten or alcohol,or both.

DameDiazepamTheDramaQueen · 23/10/2014 12:48

Yes, given up gluton, alcohol AND HAD SHED LOADS OF SURGERYGrin

DameDiazepamTheDramaQueen · 23/10/2014 12:53

If you google image her name and have a scroll through it's very clear she's also had a nose job which would also lengthen her face.

DameDiazepamTheDramaQueen · 23/10/2014 12:58

You can also clearly compare her eye lids, she's def had a lift/reduction thingy. Her face has completely changed.

I now know her face better than my own I've inspected it so muchGrin

MarshaBrady · 23/10/2014 13:00

Lol at the change as a result of going gluten free.

Nose, eyes and botox pushing down the eyebrows.
