She could walk past me in the street and I wouldn't bat an eye

I think the lips are the same so it's her. But the eyes are so different. Such a pity.

Robin Wright has better groomed eyebrows though, and they open her eyes a bit.

Blondes really get wrinkly in that Californian sun don't they? Or maybe it's just age related.

They both look healthy though, and that's the main thing, isn't it?!

Robin Wright started off much more naturally beautiful imo the RZ, also she has not had nearly as much work from what I can see, her face is mobile and you don't look at her and think 'alien'!

RZ's work has had the most bizarre effect, you can see why she/her surgeons might be happy with it because she looks youngish. But the comparison with how she used to look, there was so much more expression in her face and so much more personality.

Now she looks zoned out somehow. It must be some kind of radical eye lift which has just made her look like someone else. Such a shame. But she was never a real beauty, she was a pretty and talented comedy actress but not a beauty like Wright which may be why she is getting so knife happy.

I think she is clearly menopausal after being so slim - she's lost all her fat and hair

I think she's been through a lot to try to have a child

She looks terrible to me and every one of her years - stress is an absolute ager and she looks like she's been very stressed

This woman has been ill served by her surgeons though... Someone should have said no.

God, ageing is hideous

It's awful to be young and beautiful and watch it all fade away

And I don't care about 'it's better than the alternative' - yeah, but it's still crap to watch the wrinkles appear

That is a sad post, we shouldn't dread ageing that badly. We all will and with age comes so many benefits and often, quite a bit more happiness and acceptance.

I love older faces, and I absolutely abhor cosmetic plastic surgery faces, I really do. I mean appropriate surgery for medical reasons is fine. And some nose jobs and breast reductions and a bit of work here and there for working actresses, is fine. But when they get addicted to it at the price of their looks, that is tragic.

Queenceleste - who is that in the photo you put up? She looks so familiar but I can't remember who she is!

Being older is wonderful and I'm very happy

But the effects of ageing on the face and body are horrible - youth is incandescent and lovely, the glow my teenager has is just exquisite

Other peoples ageing faces are interesting but your own ? Nah - getting older is horrible

She's ruined her face, too much botox!

I don't think of the young RZ as "pretty" - I think she had an amazing, unusual beauty which was largely to do with her eyes and mouth

It's a brow lift to get rid of the hooded eyes. A tell tale sign of a brow lift is that it makes the forehead longer by about half an inch and that seems to have happened here.

I think she looks good, its just that she looks very different to how she looked before.

It looks mainly on the eyes.
And some Botox, but that's nothing drastic.

Because her eyes were so distinctive before it looks as if she's done a considerably more than she actually has.

Her eyes were such a defining feature! I can see how actresses may want to look 'better' (whatever that means), given their careers depend on it, but I wonder if she expected to look like a totally different person?

It's amazing, I can't think of any person in the public eye whose appearance has changed so profoundly.

I remember reading an article about 5 Years ago based on how dramatic and recurrent weight changes could affecting your ageing and they used renee as their prime example and predicted her ageing severely and early because of it.

I'm a bit concerned about her. Don't know her from Adam, of course, but there's something in her demeanour that makes her look very fragile and unsupported even though she's with her boyfriend.

She has lost a lot of hair from her temples - this has changed the shape of her face from round to square. This happened to me, not because I had a brow lift but because I have PCOS .

I've never heard of hooded eyelids impairing vision. And I have hooded eyelids!

Re hooded eyelids - I was talking to my surgeon about the rise in men having cosmetic surgery and he said he sees a lot of men regarding having the hooded skin on their eyelids removed as it can impair vision.
