Yes, I know it's been said many times and it is totally ignoring his massive achievements and objectifying his deeply sexy shoulders and winning smile but jeez, what am I going to do for Saturday night fantasies from now on?

OP posts:
GreatGretzky · 29/09/2012 15:57

I think training starts in December and competitions in March

AmIthatbad · 29/09/2012 18:30

I am scared at how obsessed I am. I thought I would have lost interest by now, but actually I am getting deeper into him.

I've just finished his book - it was an interesting story, but it was quite mixed up in places and the language was very strange. No surprise, as a previous poster had pointed out that it was translated from Italian.

GothAnneGeddes · 01/10/2012 15:41

Here is some more about his trip to the Seychelles:

RedBlanket · 01/10/2012 17:29

Attention Scottish people stalkers he's nearly here

TheSmallClanger · 01/10/2012 18:09

I'm so glad someone's brought this up again. All morning at work I have been livening up the dullness by inventing a scenario where a plane has to divert to my work on its way to Edinburgh. I would then call up the details and put out an alert to the customs agents that I had had a solid tipoff from a reliable source that there was a px on board smuggling endangered species on his person. All I know about this px is that he is male and a South African national, and is apparently fairly recognisable due to his prosthetic limbs. If he passes through, they are not to arouse his suspicions and they are to BRING HIM TO ME IMMEDIATELY so that I can perform a proper search without the endangered species (someone said something about a very rare African Freckle-Backed Fox, apparently a beautiful critter) escaping and either terrorising other px, or the cargo handlers who are notoriously shit with things like that.

Didn't happen. Maybe one day. Always best to be prepared.

GothAnneGeddes · 01/10/2012 18:47

SmallClanger- I love the effort and detail that had gone into that scenario Grin.

For non-Scottish stalkers, Channel 4 are showing a 5 minute feature on the Paralympics every night this week at 7.55, Oscar's is on Friday.

AmIthatbad · 01/10/2012 19:30

Grin Yes maybe one day. I do think that after you had searched this passenger, you would have to get a second, third and fourth opinion on whether he was a risk or not. Tis only fair. Smile

I am working all week, but intend to do some stalking sightseeing this weekend. Will take my Blade Runner book in my bag just in case - he could have a car breakdown, or come and visit Perth for the day:-)

OscarPistoriusGirlfriend · 01/10/2012 20:44

My friend works for KLM in going to put her on alert for his return. Grin she can get his picture an autograph for me. (Yeah some hope eh?)

GreatGretzky · 01/10/2012 21:30

Grin at TheSmallClanger's scenario

Looking forward to the Channel 4 thing on Friday, that lovely face and lovely voice will be on tv again!

TheSmallClanger · 01/10/2012 21:36

I promise that if he is diverted by us at any time, I will find an excuse to detain him under suspicion of breaking CITES rules. For ages. I'd be terribly nice and apologetic about it, bring him cups of tea and let him look at the doggies and kitties in the Pet Passport Scheme holding area, although this isn't actually meant to be allowed. I would certainly consider calling in some experienced questioners to get to the bottom of the story I'd heard about the African Freckle-Backed Fox.Wink

Unfortunately I would not be permitted to strip-search him as that has to be done by a male officer.

AmIthatbad · 01/10/2012 21:56

If I stuck on a false moustache and lowered my voice, would you let me do it?

OscarPistoriusGirlfriend · 01/10/2012 21:58

You could make sure that he looked at lots of low to the ground animals, those he'd have to bend down to look at. You could stand behind him to make sure he didn't escape or anything.

TheSmallClanger · 01/10/2012 22:26

I was planning on the male officer taking his time to arrive. "I'm sorry sir, but I can't be sure you haven't got a critically-endangered mammal down your underwear. You'll have to stay here, with me, until my male colleague arrives to do the strip search. What's that sir? You're meant to be in Edinburgh? Yes, I know, I'm really sorry, but the detector dog at Amsterdam Schiphol is never wrong. You didn't see the detector dog? Oh well, that detector dog, it's in and out before you know it. Fastest detector dog in the biz, we haven't got anything like that over here. Tell you what, I'll get the canteen to bring you a sandwich, a nice one I promise, then I'll introduce you to the bull terrier pup staying next door. It's really not so bad here once you get used to the wee smell".

I have far too much time on my hands.

Meglet · 01/10/2012 23:21

LOL at you lot planning your Oscar stalking Grin.

I was pondering whether he would do the BT games in Manchester next year. From what I understand it's an annual event. If I can get tickets for that it would make up for missing him at the stadium last month, we had a morning session (it was brilliant!) but Oscar only did evenings because he's a star .

OscarPistoriusGirlfriend · 01/10/2012 23:23

Being in manchester GrinGrin I will be buying tickets. DH wants to see johnnie peacock. Convenient cover for my stalking .

GreatGretzky · 02/10/2012 01:29

Meglet We had morning tickets as well. But we were luck enough to see him with the rest of the South African relay team collecting their medals! No one really knew that ceremony was coming so when he came out you heard everyone gasp and go "it's OSCAR!" Grin

is the video that's gonna be on C4 on Friday, if anyone wants to see it early!
GothAnneGeddes · 02/10/2012 01:47

thanks GG. Am hoping for some nice dreams now.

RedBlanket · 02/10/2012 08:32

The games are sponsored by BT aren't they so he probably has to
Go as part of his sponsorship deal. The DCs will love it, which will be my convenient cover having previously said that athletics is boring (well the heats are a bit).
Grin at gasp it's Oscar! There's a video on YT someone had taken from the crowd at the relay and as soon as he starts running the last leg the crowd just goes wild. It's amazing considering he's not one of us!

catstail · 02/10/2012 09:28

anyone got links to the medal ceremonies for relay, 400m and the other one?

GreatGretzky · 02/10/2012 11:16

400m ceremony It's emotional! He's nearly in tears bless him.
Can't find the others though...

GothAnneGeddes · 02/10/2012 11:31

They are all on the Channel 4 paralympics website, but you have to look for them by the day they happened and then fish through.

OscarPistoriusGirlfriend · 02/10/2012 15:56

New pictures on twitter. I don't like golf Oscar.

Too covered up. Grin

GothAnneGeddes · 02/10/2012 17:25

He looks freezing. Poor bloke.

RedBlanket · 02/10/2012 17:32

Do you think they have to play over the bridge like in crazy golf?

I didn't see the relay medal ceremony. Ill have to have a look later on my pc.

TheSmallClanger · 02/10/2012 17:53

Oscar, you were certainly not born to wear anoraks and dog walking trousers and trudge round in rainy places. It is very unbecoming, my darling.Wink

The acceptable face of covered-up Oscar
