Please do bore us Clarice! I'd be interested to see your views!
Am I right in thinking JLM played the creature first, so that reviewers were more taken with it as they had seen it before BC took on the role?

I may have that totally arse about face though Grin

LetUsPrey · 25/06/2012 18:47

Agree with CaveMum, please bore us seeing as I bore enough for several people.

I thought JLM's Creature was amazing so I can only imagine how astonishingly brilliant BC's was . They've said they can't release it on DVD because of actors' and crew rights or something. Get it sorted NT. You. Will. Make. A. Killing.

How can one man look so hot?

Official photos to follow according to Spencer Hart

D'you know what? I'd like to check that BC's as bloody gorgeous in real life as he is in his photographs. I think this needs to be done, as they say on WAYWB, for science.

And to check various other statements he's made. [selfless]

CaveMum · 25/06/2012 22:24

Blonde Batch!

I volunteer to verify the one about being a f*ing fantastic lover.

It's all for science. Honest.

Join the queue GreenCard Grin

Personally I think I need to investigate his "bad cop" persona in depth Wink

OP posts:
LetUsPrey · 25/06/2012 23:14

Yep, there's a queue! Grin

What about money or sex? Or pulling his hair and him begging for mercy and doing anything you want? (I may have made that bit up but that was the general gist Grin)

NeedsAGreenCardForFantasyLand · 26/06/2012 07:10

Nah, not into pulling hair. Wouldn't want to hurt him, not that way at least. Am thinking of that interview where he had to pick and he chose James Stewart and Grace Kelley over James Dean and...oh hell, I forgot who the other woman was. Am now running visions of a remake of "Rear Window" in my mind.... :o (Normally I hate remakes, but could possibly make an exception in this case. Esp. if I get to have the Grace Kelly role)

LetUsPrey · 26/06/2012 19:38

"Pull the hair on my head the wrong way, and I would be on my knees begging for mercy. I have very sensitive follicles.?

But just think what you could make him do if you pulled his hair the wrong way Grin

NeedsAGreenCardForFantasyLand · 26/06/2012 21:55

Oh Prey, I wish you hadn't said that. Now I won't get a wink of sleep tonight.

LetUsPrey · 26/06/2012 22:27

You're welcome Smile

I don't know about you, but after seeing this, my morning is shot to hell:

At crappy times during the working day I shall think of those images with me in her place Grin

I also need to find the right picture from behind the scenes at the Soencer Hart show and print that off.

Whatever it takes Grin

LetUsPrey · 27/06/2012 08:25

Soencer?? Spencer obviously.

NeedsAGreenCardForFantasyLand · 27/06/2012 08:33

That's OK, I'd be a little wobbly too after watching those GIFs over and over and over and over...

LadyClariceCannockMonty · 27/06/2012 10:51

Hair like Douglas Hurd

LadyClariceCannockMonty · 27/06/2012 11:42

I can't face retyping all my views on Frankenstein (not to mention thinking them all up again!) so have looked and looked at my old ones online for some I can copy and paste. Thankfully for everyone I can only find this, which is sort of it in a nutshell:

'What I loved most about BC as the Doctor was that yes, he was unpleasant, un-self-aware and arrogant, but also sometimes vulnerable and so very human. His performance was incredibly layered and subtle. I thought he was also better than JLM as the Creature ? just has more depth as an actor IMO, plus better and more varied physical acting skills and vocal range and technique.'

CaveMum, yes, I think JLM was the first Creature. He was the first I saw as well, due to Benedict, who was meant to be the Creature the first night I went, being 'indisposed'. (I'm still not over that Grin)

On another note, has this had an airing?

Benedict not confident socially? I don't believe it for a second. And frankly, at the moment it seems like he's turning up at the opening of envelopes Grin

NeedsAGreenCardForFantasyLand · 27/06/2012 12:15

I'm sure there are legions of women (and men) perfectly willing to let him let them get to know the real Benedict. Care to start with me? :)

LetUsPrey · 27/06/2012 12:53

Bless. I think he needs to have a night in. You know, get to bed early Wink

NeedsAGreenCardForFantasyLand · 27/06/2012 15:58

I'd volunteer to tuck him in and read him a story. Perhaps "Fifty Shades of Grey"?

CaveMum · 27/06/2012 17:42

I don't believe that he's not confident socially. Evidence for the prosecution: Drag Batch

Grin
OP posts:
NeedsAGreenCardForFantasyLand · 27/06/2012 21:17

I'm on the fence on this one. On the one hand, it could be total crap, as evidenced that right now he's EVERYWHERE. (And oh, don't we hate that.)

On the other hand, DragBatch, HefBatch and all the other -Batches we've seen could be just another opportunity for him to practice a persona. To be honest, I feel bad for the man. I do believe him when he says his celebrity is a serious impediment to meeting women as they only know what he's projected on-screen. (Which of course does nothing for our hopes of meeting him in some café.) The minute he spends more than 2 minutes chatting some woman up, there's a blip in the blogosphere that he has a girlfriend. Can you imagine what would happen if he opened up at one of these functions? It's his way of protecting what little privacy he has.

If you ask me, my money is on him having stealth profiles on Facebook or the like.

LetUsPrey · 27/06/2012 23:24

I have my plan. I will meet him at a swanky function (details of why on earth I am at the same function as BC are hazy and, frankly, unnecessary), we will strike up a conversation and wander about with the crowds outside. However, it gets a bit darker which makes it easier to drift off with no-one actually noticing (details also hazy). Therefore, BC can loosen up and be more himself and relax and show me exactly how confident he can be Grin

LetUsPrey · 27/06/2012 23:45

From deareje's tumblr re Sherlock. It also says on the blog where this has been taken from.

"It can be revealed the secrets of his survival have already been filmed ? as TV producers were worried the location might change its appearance before the next series starts shooting in full. But the big question is: does Sherlockology know how its hero survived? ?If we do we wouldn?t tell,? said Coomber. ?And we don?t like to speculate as although the media was on fire with suggestions Steven and Mark are such great writers I am sure whatever they come up with will be amazingly clever. ?But I do know this ? the solution has already been filmed. The cast and crew did it very soon after the ending of the final episode, to ensure there were no continuity errors in how the location looked.?
