Doubt it. He's not in La La Land for long (he's got to come back for the bike ride) so odds are it was a "meet and get to know your future co-star" thing.

That said, I like Liv Tyler, she's always struck me as someone you'd have a good night out with. So in that basis I would approve.

I would have thought they met ages ago. I was under the impression that work on the film had started and then gone a bit quiet. In my head which is often filled with musings on What's Benedict Doing Now? they already knew each other and were poised to start work on Phoenix and then it was put on hold.

I'd say this is 'I'm in LA, want to go to the flicks?' and nothing more.

Or they could be shagging like bunnies.

I agree with Frankel, I can't imagine Benedict being romantically linked to her (I get the impression that she could never keep up with him intellectually -- at least going by her commentary on the LoTR DVDs.) I had to laugh, though, at the line in the article about them being seen at the party together. Going by that logic, he must be shagging Zach Quinto (he does play for the other team) AND, of course, Martin Freeman, and probably half of the LA glitterati that were there.

Of course, if Benedict just happened to need a prelude to shagging....oh hell, there goes the FantasyLand Express again!

Oh mercy me. Just got an e-mail from Amazon with my most recent recommendations. Those would be (in this exact order):

and three other (mostly) irrelevant things that do not interest me in the least. Strangely, it did not reference anything else I looked up recently (Mad Men, Dexter, True Blood). Amazon must have a private link to my computer.
