Confirmation that BC will be at The Emmys on sunday.

Doesn't look like you can watch the show live over here (starts at midnight anyway) but apparently Channel 5 are doing a highlights show in the week. Not sure what chance Sherlock has to be honest, it didn't pick up any of the creative awards that it was nominated for during the week, and it probably doesn't have a huge audience in the US.

I found a provider (that's almost definitely legal, haven't found anything to tell me otherwise) that streams UK and US TV on the internet. (This is how I have been watching Parade's End!!) I just checked, and the Emmys will be carried by the US network ABC, which is also streamed on this channel.

Oh my... the music, the cinematography, the costumes, and Benedict (and the rest)...fantastic. I would have happily tuned in for another few weeks to watch more. What I love the most about him is that he makes me want to run to the library to get those books so I can have those images in my mind as I read. (Because, let's face it, reading a book with little kids in the house does tend to take a while.) Alas, there is a stack of books to be read before then, but I have pre-ordered PE from Amazon. My friend here has already asked when she can come over to watch. Must find DH something to do while we sit here and swill wine and swoon.

Because I am weak and have no self control, particularly where Benedict Cumberbatch is concerned , I have been looking at the gifs on the cumberbuddy tumblr.

Yes, I think I will definitely be watching this final episode when I am alone.
