Silly Emmy awards. The shot of him with the napkins on his forehead is adorkable!

The fact that "Sherlock" is going home empty-handed just goes to show that my country is, indeed, going down the toilet. (I would like to think that the UK does not have anything similar to "Jersey Shore" or other IQ-wasting shows.)

The napkins were...um...interesting. I want to know a) who gave them to him (because they look like they came from McDonald's) and b) what one earth possessed him to do that on the red carpet. I mean, he must know that those pics are going to reverb around the blogosphere. Unless Martin put him up to it. Which I would believe in a New York minute.

Oh I'm utterly convinced he does some of these wacky things for his own amusement. "let's see how long this takes to appear on tumblr!", etc

The Bond quote was from the Harpers Bazaar interview with Rebecca Hall. He said:

"I'd like to play Bond gone wrong... Maybe his brother. Somebody deep in the fabric of Bond's trusted world. Something subtle and psychological, rather than someone with a lair or a massive army. That would be fun."

Now, Frankel, the question is: Did you transcribe that from the magazine or did you type it from memory?

I think in earlier interviews he's said he'd like to be Bond. But Bond's dysfunctional brother would be good too. 'subtle and psychological' villains are always interesting and he'd do a marvellous job. [not biased at all]
