Just wonered if I have missed something..listened to Cabin Pressure tonight. Radio 4.BC is not playing Martin. I thought it was a repeat, but does anyone know if it is the new series, and he is not in it..obviously because he has not been in UK..
Sorry if I have misse a post about this, but can someone let me know if we will hear BC as Martin in a new series?

sloppy don't panic! It is not the new series! BC was ill (caught flu while filming Sherlock IIRC) so missed the recording of Newcastle. He returned for the remaining episodes.

Oops, posted too soon. New series is still being written and John Finnemore's has hinted that BC will be in it, but it's all schedule dependent, which to me means autumn at the earliest.

You can hear his voice is a bit croaky in the surrounding episodes. Listened to Limerick again on the way home yesterday and Ipswich the day before that.

Acksherly , the flu thing was pneumonia and was ages ago, during the filming of the first series of Sherlock.

BC missed that episode of Cabin Pressure because he lost his voice. It was while he was in Frankenstein at the National Theatre and he was obviously trying to do too much. He had to miss a couple of performances of Frankenstein because of it too.

Since it's nearly Jubilee weekend, I thought this was rather funny: Sherlock at the palace.

He OBVIOUSLY needs me to dress.( and undress..) him. I was at the Rock Gala that night, but I can not believe I was in the same room as him..with 3500 others ! Only found out he was there afterwards..
