Thanks for the antidote Prey...I am trying to decide if it would have been better to have bumped into him on the night wearig that, or whether it was best that we never met! ( Actually, I think on balance meeting would have been a nobrainer..)
Maybe, ( had we met ) I could have ' accidently ' splilt my drink over said hat.. ( a TALL ORDER AS HE IS SO TALL AND I AM 4'11'', but I would have endevoured in the name of fanship... ), and BC would have had an excuse to consign it to bin..

My plan for the hat is this:

Lots of kissing with BC, I run my hands through his hair thereby knocking the hat from his head, we then fall to the floor and land on the hat. Hat is squished and is no more.

Easy. Strip him of his jacket - and in fact the rest of his clothes - and throw it very far in the heat of passion. So far he'd never find it again.

Good grief the cut of BC's suit was amazing. MS didn't look too shabby either but BC ..

When they got to the pool scene, I thought about that!

Also, I started sniggering rather immaturely when BC says something about having a bulge in his suit Oh Benedict, you have no idea (except he probably does)!
