I see it as Dracula as modern day business tycoon (evil, natch) with secret rooms in his mansion.

Matt Smith could be Van Helsing (could he be that actiony?) and I would start as VH's helper who Dracula - in a fantastically drawn out sequence - seduces to his side.

CaveMum · 29/04/2012 15:27

I've got images like this and this swirling round my head!

BC PROGRAMME KLAXON: The Marple episode he's in when he rides a motorbike - Murder Is Easy - is on next Saturday on ITV3 at 5.55pm. Did I mention he rides a motorbike?

Just a thought, but in my Dracula version after I've been seduced and corrupted repeatedly by BC, I could then try to lure Matt Smith as Van Helsing over to being a baddie. Who else could be VH? because I'm starting to imagine a threesome situation and I'm not sure if MS is a definite

Fluffymonster · 29/04/2012 16:47

David Tennant! David Tennant!

CaveMum · 29/04/2012 16:54

Aw, fluffy took the words out of my mouth Grin

He did a good job of the Van Helsing-like character in Fright Night. Dear god, I love a man who can wear eyeliner

LetUsPrey · 29/04/2012 17:09

No, sorry. I do like DT and goodness knows I also like a man who can wear eyeliner, but he's not quite it IYSWIM.

LetUsPrey · 29/04/2012 17:11

Just settling down to watch Hawking.

sloppygirl · 29/04/2012 17:47

Thanks for the Marple alert. LetUs Prey.

I think modern Dracula would do it for me...may be he could ride a motorbike...!!

LetUsPrey · 29/04/2012 19:03

Could BC play both parts in my Dracula film do you think?

Although nearly finished Hawking - which is all kinds of awesome by the way - and Tom Ward playing Roger Penrose is quite nice. Hmm no, not sure though.

LetUsPrey · 29/04/2012 19:04

Poo. Try that link again.

holmessweetholmes · 29/04/2012 19:52

Liking the Dracula idea... I have just been enjoying watching . Hope the link works - I am still a bit clueless about the finer points of my iPhone!

CaveMum · 29/04/2012 21:17

Hawking was very much of the awesome.

I'm sure any Dracula film would need a few extras to play nameless victims. Any volunteers? Wink

LetUsPrey · 29/04/2012 21:24

hsh - link worked perfectly. I do know if I was lying in bed with him, I wouldn't be fecking about blowing bubbles.

CaveMum - see, I've already cast myself in quite a main role so being an extra is out for me. Can't imagine there'd be a shortage of volunteers.

holmessweetholmes · 29/04/2012 21:33

Good point re priorities, Let Us Prey. I did rather enjoy watching that perfect mouth blowing the bubbles though.

TheAddict · 30/04/2012 07:25

and how can blowing bubbles be so damn erotic??

AddictMimimus is about to flee the family nest. Again. Have explained he cannot take my computer - I need it. Strictly for research, of course.

LetUsPrey · 30/04/2012 07:41

Because tis BC.

LetUsPrey · 30/04/2012 22:12

Where's everyone gone? May be this from the fabulous What Are Wearing Benedict blog (is it a blog? I don't know what one of those is).

Hawking was incredible. BC's performance was astounding. The scene betwee Hawking and Penrose on the railway station platform where he/they have a breakthrough was fantastic.

TheAddict · 01/05/2012 07:42

Prey : 'Hawking' is quite amazing, isn't it? I saw it when it was first aired, and BC's performance in it astounded me - the portrayal of a man whose body is degenerating but whose mind is not.

He's one of the few modern-day actors I can think of who portrays 'flawed/faulty' characters so convincingly.

I absolutely loathed him as Bernard in 'Small Island' - the character, not BC himself, needless to say - and in 'Turning Point' I suddenly realised that I had great sympathy with Burgess, even though I should dislike him.

Three coherent sentences without my mentioning any lustful thoughts about BC? Must be a record.

CaveMum · 01/05/2012 08:01

I'm here, just very busy at the moment! Hawking is very good isn't it. You can see why BC is slightly concerned about being type-cast as the genius/nerd/oddball characters - he does them so well! Star Trek will be a whole new thing, being (to quote Buffy) The Big Bad!

So, anyone want some Star Trek spoilers?! If so (including info on BC's character), click here, of course if you don't want any spoilers, don't click on the link!

LetUsPrey · 01/05/2012 08:13

Saw the spoilers late last night CaveMum. It's a year this month to the film! Squeeee!

LadyClariceCannockMonty · 01/05/2012 08:38

Prey, that photo is hot.

I'm also slightly coveting his hair! I have very short hair and permanently long for the 'artfully tousled' look. Sadly it more often just looks like real bed-hair which it usually is rather than carefully created 'bed-look-hair'.

Anyway, back to the point: didn't get to watch any BC last weekend, but DP is out this Saturday so I'll be taking myself to bed with Hawking and/or Third Star. What a choice!

holmessweetholmes · 01/05/2012 13:11

Thanks for the spoilers! A whole year to wait though... I was feeling very BC-deprived this morning and indulged myself with a little Sherlock. Didn't have time for a whole episode, but feeling better now I've had my fix. Those close-fitting shirts...

LetUsPrey · 01/05/2012 19:25

Awww TheAddict - three sentences without lusting over BC. You're growing as a person. Smile

holmessweetholmes - I'd watch Hawking if it was me and I could only watch one.

LetUsPrey · 01/05/2012 19:30

Bollocks. I was distracted by DS1 screaming at me from upstairs that he needed a piece of paper for his homework Hmm

The watch Hawking thing was obviously to LadyClarice.

Fluffymonster · 01/05/2012 19:50

Does this:

details of livestream PBS Sherlock Q&A Event in NY 2nd May...mean 1.15am our time, effectively early hrs of 3rd May?

Sorry it's been a long day!

BTW thanks Prey for the Marple heads up.

Oooh, [whispers] did anyone see that tweet that said BC was spotted in Marvel HQ earlier?? Who's he meeting and what's it about I wonder..! Bit intriguing...
