Seeing as the Sherlock discussions are dying down I thoguth I'd start a new thread for all the BC fans out there - judging by the number of MNers with him on their "List", he surely deserves his own thread.

So here it is: a place to share videos, pictures, articles and whatever else you want. The only thing I'll say is that I'd appreciate it if no one posted a link to the video(s) of BC dancing at a wedding. Apparently it was stolen from his ex girlfriend and is the cause of much upset. So lets be respectful. Otherwise, anything goes Grin

I'll get us started with some personal favourites:

- pay close attention to the wink @ 0.42 and his whip action @ 0.51 Grin

And finally some gratuitous , with my personal favourite the black and white shot featured at 2.53 [drools]

Share/comment away Grin

When will you get chance to watch them CaveMum?

I really want to watch mine but DH will be watching the football tonight. Mind you, if that's on terrestrial TV, he can watch it in another room. He is going out on Friday, though so DC to bed early (because that'll happen) and then it's just me and Sherlock. I so don't want to wait until Friday.

LetUsPrey · 25/01/2012 12:13

Right, it's official. BC is sending me properly potty. I've put my comma in the wrong place in the penultimate sentence of my last post. The shame of it.

CaveMum · 25/01/2012 12:19

Ah the dizzying effects for BC Grin

I might be able to convince DH to watch an episode tonight, he normally works away during the week but is home tonight as he has meetings in this part of the world. Otherwise, if he says no, it'll be Sunday before I can get a fix Shock

If you want to keep up to date on Star Trek filming goings on, I can recommend following Simon Pegg on Twitter, he's mentioned BC once or twice (not giving away any filming secrets) so it is a little stalkerish, but who cares!!

Just been confirmed that, due to demand Wink, The National Theatre will again be putting screenings of Frankenstein at selected cinemas across the UK. Go to The National Theatre website and sign up to their newsletters to get more info as it is released.

If you needed anymore incentive, I understand that BC gets nekkid in one version, but I'm not sure which version will be screened in cinemas Grin

FFS this is not a good week for me technologically speaking. I just typed out a post and it whooshed off into t'internet somewhere.

What I wanted to say what do you think Simon Pegg has realised why his Twitter followers are increasing, particularly female?

Jolly inconsiderate of your DH CaveMum.

National Theatre you say? Back in a mo.

LetUsPrey · 25/01/2012 12:52

My nearest one is St Helens which isn't that close. Also, can't really picture that conversation with DH. "I'm going to the cinema in St Helens to watch Frankenstein because it stars Benedict Cumberbatch and there's a chance he takes his clothes off." Probably not.

CaveMum · 25/01/2012 12:58

No, no, no! For crying out loud, the words "Benedict. Cumberbatch. Naked (possibly)" should drive you to pull out all the stops!!

You tell DH "I'm off for a girly night out at the cinema with some mates. What are we seeing? Oh it's a chick flick, you'd hate it!" Wink

BTW, I've just noticed that my predictive text has added "Cumberbatch" to it's dictionary. I only have to type "Cumb" and it appears Blush

Sadly CaveMum there are at least four cinemas closer to my house than St Helens and not even I with my many years of fibbing training could pull that one off. Plus, it would be just my luck that it would be the showing where he doesn't get nekkid.

Better go. I'm at work and really not supposed to be on t'internet.

CaveMum · 25/01/2012 14:01

Just checked the NT site, they've not confirmed where it will be screened, it it will be in the spring and both versions will be shown.

Anyone know which version Benny strips of in????!

SeaShellsOnTheSeaShore · 25/01/2012 14:07

If he is Frankenstein he is nekkid.

Otherwise it's Johnny lee miller nekkid, which is not a bad second :)

CaveMum · 25/01/2012 14:38

Maybe I'll have to book in to see both, just to get the full, er, experience Wink

Simply stunning photo of BC on the front page of a Belgian magazine, courtesy of Twitter. I can't post a link but if you Google "Focus Knack Magazine Cumberbatch" and click on the page from Cumberbatchweb, you'll see what I mean.

His eyes look amazing Grin

Waar zijn die Cumberbitches indeed! Confused Grin

Kayzr · 25/01/2012 17:28

That picture is amazing!!!!!

I've just had an email to say tinker tailor soldier spy has been dispatched. So that's both series's of Sherlock and that on the way!! Grin

CaveMum · 25/01/2012 17:50

The Sherlockology website has put up some pieces of music from the Series that can be downloaded and used as ringtones here

Personally I prefer "Welcome to London" to the theme tune and I am coveting that wallpaper of BC with his eyes shut Grin. Don't think I could get away with it on my laptop or work computer sadly!

WHY HAVEN'T MY DVDS COME!

Sorry, as you were Blush

TwoIfBySea · 25/01/2012 18:53

Is it wrong that since Sherlock I also find Martin Freeman a tiny bit yummy? I'm sure The Hobbit will cure that.

Cumberbitch and proud.

Someone should t-shirt that.

TeamDamon · 25/01/2012 19:01

I think the hairy feet will be enough to dampen any lingering MF lust Grin

LetUsPrey · 25/01/2012 19:05

Just looked at the Belgian mag link thingy. Oh my oh my oh my.

And the wallpapers on the Sherlockogy website. I know what you mean about the one of him with his eyes shut. And you see his hands, those beautiful hands. I want to lick him.

LetUsPrey · 25/01/2012 19:09

Someone's gone a bit mad with the curling irons

CaveMum · 25/01/2012 19:12

TwoIfBySea - someone has Grin

Is it wrong that I want to buy most of those??!

I think my immediate favourite is "I've Just Been Cumberbatched".

LetUsPrey · 25/01/2012 19:28

In fact, I wish I had been Cumberbatched. A lot.
