Seeing as the Sherlock discussions are dying down I thoguth I'd start a new thread for all the BC fans out there - judging by the number of MNers with him on their "List", he surely deserves his own thread.

So here it is: a place to share videos, pictures, articles and whatever else you want. The only thing I'll say is that I'd appreciate it if no one posted a link to the video(s) of BC dancing at a wedding. Apparently it was stolen from his ex girlfriend and is the cause of much upset. So lets be respectful. Otherwise, anything goes Grin

I'll get us started with some personal favourites:

- pay close attention to the wink @ 0.42 and his whip action @ 0.51 Grin

And finally some gratuitous , with my personal favourite the black and white shot featured at 2.53 [drools]

Share/comment away Grin

LetUsPrey · 10/02/2012 19:16

How have I never noticed that one before?!

I am planning to start watching Third Star tomorrow when DH is out with the DC Smile.

LetUsPrey · 10/02/2012 19:46

Oooo thanks meg!

DesperateHousewife21 · 10/02/2012 19:55

Debating with dh what to watch tonight. He said we've always got the last ep of Sherlock so I said yeah I really fancy Sherlock....he didn't get it.

The theme tunes starting! Can't wait to see his beautiful face and eyes and hands and mouth and and and him!

DesperateHousewife21 · 10/02/2012 20:00

Oh god he's lying on the sofa mmm

LetUsPrey · 10/02/2012 20:23

Is it the last one of series one or two? They're both bloody brilliant.

Am very Envy.

CaveMum · 10/02/2012 20:49

Ta for the iPhone case link, not sure it's subtle enough for me to get away with at work though!

Series one :)

Now that's over I want to watch series 2 right now!

LetUsPrey · 10/02/2012 22:12

Interview with Chris Pine re BC in the Star Trek film. "His vocal quality is something else".

Yes, Chris, we've noticed! Grin

How good does he look in that suit at end of The Great Game?

I know! He looks gorgeous all the way through, in that security guard outfit

I can honestly see this thread going on up til the third series and we're all going to be dying of excitement. All those fresh scenes and outfits and lines ooh I can't wait!!

TeamDamon · 11/02/2012 08:35

LetUsPrey - also loving the line 'I think it's all going to be love - a mad amount of love.' Do you think he's been reading this thread? Blush Grin

Also have to laugh at his comment about BC being, like, an actually trained actor who actually studied for it. Erm - that's what the Brits, like, do!

LetUsPrey · 11/02/2012 09:01

DH is taking the DC out soon. I reckon I'll have about an hour to myself but then I have to go out. An hour of Third Star is better than nothing though.

A trained actor made me laugh too!

Kayzr · 11/02/2012 09:16

I'd love to know what he would think if he sat and read this thread Grin

I can't believe we have to wait until the 17th May next year Sad

LetUsPrey · 11/02/2012 09:28

Loving it so far!

Love the new name!

DesperateHousewife21 · 11/02/2012 11:35

What?! May next year? I thought it was later this year :(

Fluffymonster · 11/02/2012 11:44

Has anyone seen this bunch of Sherlock Series 2 mini-icons doing the rounds?? They're great - so funny lol.

redscharlach.livejournal.com/234732.html

LeonieDelt I loved Third Star too. He was fab in it. To be fair I thought they were all great. Apparently he wanted to shave his head for it, but was about to go off and do Sherlock next, so he couldn't, and they adjusted the script accordingly.

You know - I saw the interview video clip with Chris Pine and all the questions were about BC! ("Have you done any scenes together yet", "What is it like working with Benedict", "What is he bringing to the film?" etc. etc.) Chris Pine was very gracious, but I couldn't help but wonder if it was slightly irritating to be asked about BC when he is the actual star. Mr. Cumberbatch is taking over the world heehee.

LetUsPrey · 11/02/2012 12:11

Those mini-icons are brilliant!

I've about half an hour of Third Star left. They're all amazing. I'm going to need a hankie for that last half hour aren't I?

On a slightly shallower note, BC in a beanie (?sp) hat and a hoodie = lush.

Fluffymonster · 11/02/2012 12:34

Agree totally lush - in the fedora, in the beanie and the hoodie. Just lush full stop.

Yes. Hankies. Brave, moving and heartbreaking. I love that he goes off and does these little independent projects that are low budget, thoughtful little pieces. Can't wait to see him in Phoenix the (romcom?) film he's going to do with Liv Tyler.

DesperateHousewife21 · 11/02/2012 12:39

At this rate all the films on our lovefilm list are going to have BC in them, I think dh will twig soon!

LetUsPrey · 11/02/2012 13:26

Third Star is on the shelf with lots of other DVDs. DH won't know it hasn't been there for ages. Grin

Think I might see if I can get hold of Inseparable. There are two of him.

LetUsPrey · 11/02/2012 14:59

Everyone has gone out! I have about an hour to myself. Hmm, what should I do?
