Seeing as the Sherlock discussions are dying down I thoguth I'd start a new thread for all the BC fans out there - judging by the number of MNers with him on their "List", he surely deserves his own thread.

So here it is: a place to share videos, pictures, articles and whatever else you want. The only thing I'll say is that I'd appreciate it if no one posted a link to the video(s) of BC dancing at a wedding. Apparently it was stolen from his ex girlfriend and is the cause of much upset. So lets be respectful. Otherwise, anything goes Grin

I'll get us started with some personal favourites:

- pay close attention to the wink @ 0.42 and his whip action @ 0.51 Grin

And finally some gratuitous , with my personal favourite the black and white shot featured at 2.53 [drools]

Share/comment away Grin

Series one ep two about to start! Excited Grin

LetUsPrey · 05/02/2012 13:56

Unavailable?! On Amazon? What do you mean? Unavailable??!!

FFS. Off to google it.

Enjoy The Blind Banker!

perplexedpirate · 05/02/2012 14:12

It looks really good, looking forward to watching it.

By Christ, but he's beautiful.

LetUsPrey · 05/02/2012 14:23

Where did you get your copies of Third Star from and how much? HMV have it in stock for £7.99 with free delivery.

exexpat · 05/02/2012 15:13

I got mine on Amazon a week or two ago, for £7 something. They must have had a sudden rush of orders. I wonder why...

LetUsPrey · 05/02/2012 15:18

Why indeed? Grin HMV it is then.

DesperateHousewife21 · 05/02/2012 15:47

I don't think the blind banker is one of my fav Sherlock eps. Don't feel there's enough of his amazing geniousness in it.
He still looks bloody gorgeous though.

Bring on ep 3!

LetUsPrey · 05/02/2012 16:23

Have ordered Third Star from HMV. Eventually.

Enjoy The Great Game - I think that's one of my favourites.

CaveMum · 05/02/2012 16:40

I think The Blind Banker is the weakest of the 6 episodes. I also think there are several "un-Sherlock" moments in it - he "flirts" with Molly complementing her hair) and he tries to reassure Sarah after he has rescued her and JW. You'd think normal Sherlock would just tell her to get on with it!

The Great Game just has so many great moments in it: the purple shirt of sex, the Security Guard uniform and that balck suit and unbuttoned white shirt in the final scenes Grin

The writing's not bad too Wink

I was going to watch Scandal again tonight (have only seen it once) but then I remembered that Call the Midwife is on followed by a programme about Bomber Command, though I may just record the latter.

OP posts:
DesperateHousewife21 · 05/02/2012 16:51

I thought he was complimenting Molly's hair because he knew it would get do what he wanted i.e look at the bodies.
But yes agree that the reassuring Sarah etc was a bit off.

DesperateHousewife21 · 05/02/2012 16:51

Get her to do*

Saltire · 05/02/2012 17:36

I have set the picture, linked to yesterday by Letuspray of BC wearing a sheet, as my desktop background.

DS1, who is a teenager (say no more) looked at it and said " FGS Mum< do you know how old you are, why have you got the picture of a half naked Sherlock as your desktop"

he has to ask?????

CaveMum · 05/02/2012 17:54

Oh I get that Sherlock was just trying to get Molly to let him look at the bodies, but flirting is not one of his methods. He probably doesn't know how to flirt!

OP posts:
DesperateHousewife21 · 05/02/2012 18:28

Ah ok I'm with you, he shouldnt be flirting with anyone except me

LetUsPrey · 05/02/2012 18:56

Agree that Sherlock wouldn't know flirting if he fell over it. I was going to suggest that may be he knew that Molly liked him so if he flattered her, she would respond by letting him see the bodies. Then I thought did he know that Molly liked him given that at the Christmas party in A Scandal in Belgravia he didn't realise at first who'd she made an effort for?

In short, I have no idea Grin.

What I do know is that BC looks blardy gawgeous and I am Envy at those of you who have him as your desktop.

perplexedpirate · 05/02/2012 20:38

Well, it's taken me all farking evening, but my text tone is now 'damn good shag'.

Saltire · 05/02/2012 21:22

I am so glad that I have encouraged so many of you have " A Damm Good Shag" as your text alert!

LetUsPrey · 05/02/2012 21:50

I have managed to get the audio from the "right, we'll start with the riding crop" clip and it's stored somewhere on my computer. I'm sure there's a way to get it from there on to my 'phone. I just don't know how to do it yet. Although every time I get the house to myself, I've been watching Sherlock.

DesperateHousewife21 · 05/02/2012 21:51

Omg..I want I want!

LetUsPrey · 05/02/2012 22:33
and I don't mean as a text alert Grin
Fluffymonster · 05/02/2012 23:32

For those interested (and can't get hold of a copy of Third Star quickly enough) - it's on Youtube at the moment. It's chopped up into about 9 clips but if that's not a problem...

Here's the first, then you just click on the ones that follow.

Third Star part 1

Fluffymonster · 05/02/2012 23:50

I have to say, I think the pale, wan look does it for me. I think hats look great on him as well - there's a split second image of him when they're all at the pub, and it's just before he catches the feather - gorgeous. And his eyes...my goodness. They are so striking, I swear in this film there are moments where they almost seem like the colour of moonstone.

But anyway...have got Sherlock Series 1 on dvd. I have never actually seen 'The Great Game', having missed it the first time round - so about to watch it in my cumbernest.

'Laterz!' Wink

LetUsPrey · 06/02/2012 13:07

I have just giggled my way round Boots! They were playing "Let's Get It On" by Marvin Gaye which is the backing track to one of the many YouTube clips of BC's various - but not enough - love scenes. As soon as I walked into the shop and heard the music, all I could think of was BC!

I must have looked a right numpty! But I don't care Grin.

TeamDamon · 06/02/2012 16:01

Agree with Fluffymonster about the eyes. They are incredible.

Do you want to know the extent of my BC obsession?

Harrow school is advertising for an English teacher, and I fleetingly thought 'Ooh, I could work there and breathe the same air that he breathed and invite him to come back to recite poetry to me, not to mention give me a damn good shag pass on his pearls of wisdom to the students.'

Dear lord, it's bad, isn't it??

exexpat · 06/02/2012 17:14

No, that sounds like a perfectly reasonable plan to me Grin.

Tomorrow I need to have a conversation with someone who has worked closely with BC. Am I going to be able to stop myself dropping his name into the conversation every other sentence? Will be hard. Must remind myself that I am not 16 any more.
