Seeing as the Sherlock discussions are dying down I thoguth I'd start a new thread for all the BC fans out there - judging by the number of MNers with him on their "List", he surely deserves his own thread.

So here it is: a place to share videos, pictures, articles and whatever else you want. The only thing I'll say is that I'd appreciate it if no one posted a link to the video(s) of BC dancing at a wedding. Apparently it was stolen from his ex girlfriend and is the cause of much upset. So lets be respectful. Otherwise, anything goes Grin

I'll get us started with some personal favourites:

- pay close attention to the wink @ 0.42 and his whip action @ 0.51 Grin

And finally some gratuitous , with my personal favourite the black and white shot featured at 2.53 [drools]

Share/comment away Grin

Watched the clip but with the sound down because I'm sitting next to DH. Something to watch in the morning!

LetUsPrey · 01/02/2012 22:49

Sweet dreams everyone Grin

Aww we want to thank our mums!

Fluffymonster · 02/02/2012 11:17

I love this compilation of him doing a bit of modelling! Phwoar.

DesperateHousewife21 · 02/02/2012 15:54

Every one of those photos is amazing.
He's with Jaime Winstone in a couple of them, I've met her Grin

LetUsPrey · 02/02/2012 19:23

I have had a particularly crap day at work so I need some Benedict. Off to peruse the links!

Fluffymonster · 02/02/2012 21:24

Oops sorry CaveMum just realised I previously posted up the exact same clip you did in your first post! Silly me!

Ah, I was wondering who the woman pictured with him was!

Here's a (non-lusty, but insightful) link to the IMDB thread that contains the article he wrote, for the Prince's Trust, about the horrific car jacking incident he and a couple of his friends went through back in 2004.

It also contains a link at the bottom of the piece, to the TV interview with Denise Black (one of the friends with him at the time) - where she talks about it (from about 5.15mins onwards). Terrifying!

CaveMum · 02/02/2012 22:35

Oh the poor love! I had read about the carjacking, but reading that just makes me want to give him a hug amongst other things

To aid us all to sweet dreams tonight, I just had to post this quote again:

"I'm always cast as sort of slightly wan, ethereal, troubled, intellectuals or physically ambivalent bad lovers.
"I'm here to tell you I'm quite the opposite in real life. I'm a fucking fantastic lover.
"I do like to live in a sensory world. I ride a motorbike, I do scuba diving, I'm a man of the world and I like to have a bit of adventure in my life."

Also from the travel article:

(imagine in BC's voice)

"The sight was intoxicating." - talking about me obviously Grin

"As the stars rose I drifted down to the beach for a swim in a haze of post-massage calm." - you're welcome, it was my pleasure

"... by the time I stepped out of the shallows the bioluminescence of tiny plankton lit up every movement of my body through the water." - thank you bioluminescence

"Through a shuttered sliding door lay a bathroom with a sunken tub perfectly positioned for a romantic stargazing bath for two." - I'm on my way

"It's full-on, sweaty, sticky-fingered fun .." - does this really need a comment?! (and he's not talking about what you think he is - well, in my head he is) Grin

Night all

DesperateHousewife21 · 03/02/2012 07:23

Hehe letusprey that's good!
I'd give anything to be there with him, I'd be a grinning maniac the whole time though!

CaveMum · 03/02/2012 08:15

[looks very flustered]

I had a BC dream last night [bout flipping time!]. He looked like this and oh my holy jeesus it was good Wink Grin

[runs back to bed to try and restart dream again]

Ver jealous. I should be due an extremely norty dream about BC and I given the amount of time I spend thinking about him.

LadyClariceCannockMonty · 03/02/2012 11:46

I've had several dreams incorporating Benedict but never a full-on sexytime one Sad despite my best efforts.

SurferRosa · 03/02/2012 12:33

I haven't had any naughty dreams unfortunately, although some of my daydreams have descended into total filth.

LadyClariceCannockMonty · 03/02/2012 12:54

My daydreams started as filth and have got better worse. Grin

I have dreamt about dancing a quickstep with Benedict. He was approaching me to ask me to tango when I woke up. Angry

I've also had more than one dream featuring him that I'm sure were to do with work anxiety. Odd.

LetUsPrey · 03/02/2012 13:04

I have daydreams where he's standing behind me whispering completely absolutely filthy things in my ear, telling me exactly what he's going to do to me and then those perfect lips brush my neck .... I won't tell you what his hands are doing Blush

Oh my.

SurferRosa · 03/02/2012 13:15

The tango! Your subconscious must have known you'd implode with desire if that dream was to carry on. adds 'tango' to list of daydream scenarios

LetUsPrey · 03/02/2012 13:21
LadyClariceCannockMonty · 03/02/2012 13:35

SurferRosa, all I know is I am not particularly happy with my subconscious intervening!

The quickstep was lovely. But the Argentine tango would have been ... something else. He was walking up to where I was standing with a couple of friends, looked at them, then fixed me with a meaningful gaze and said something to them along the lines of 'Sorry ladies, but you understand ...'

Saltire · 03/02/2012 13:53

Having a pre teen helps - -my-- our dvd of Sherlock season 1 arrived today, to be viewed suspicously by DH

"Wha't this" (doh)
"Oh that, it's a Sherlock dvd" says I.
"I can see that, did you order this so you can drool over Sherlock" he had the cheek to ask.

So I said "oh no, as if I would do that, I got it for DS2, he's been asking for ages if he can watch it and I noticed it was only £4.99 on Amazon and it's a 12 cert so he - supervised by me - can watch it"

i thought I did well Wink

CaveMum · 03/02/2012 14:01

Oo yes a Tango is the way to go! People assume that the Latin dances are sexier, but that's only because you use your hips a lot. In Ballroom you are a lot closer to your partner, thighs brushing against each other, bodies pressed firmly together .... [drifts off]

I said earlier in the thread, I'm sure he'd be a very good dancer. He has great poise. Can we start a campaign to get him on Strictly????

OP posts:
LadyClariceCannockMonty · 03/02/2012 14:08

I mean Argentine tango specifically (does that count as Latin, ballroom, or is it standalone?). It's VERY sexy; the come-hither stuff ? you want me, do I want you, are you tempted, look what you're missing, I'll have you ...

I even know what I'd dance it to and what the story would be. Grin

PS I love Strictly, don't get me wrong, but would rather not see Benedict on it. He's too clarsy IMO.

exexpat · 03/02/2012 14:22

No, definitely no BC in Strictly, please. All those ghastly polyester and lycra costumes would ruin him for ever, not to mention the fixed grins and inane banter.

But the odd tango would be fine - I can quite see him instead of Alan Rickman in the , dancing at the petrol station (from about 2mins in). Oh yes.

Kayzr · 03/02/2012 14:22

I would love to dance an Argentine tango with BC, I don't know if I would like to see him on Strictly but I would love to watch him dance.
