Hello all, I am a lazy blogger, new to mumsnet and the UK (well sort of). I started blogging about women then mothers and mostly about the relationship between the two. I believe that "motherhood is not for sissies" though we all feel like one most of the time. I baptized my blog "deconstructing mummy" because I figured that only by deconstructing the suffocating myths about motherhood, can we truly be ourselves. Evening. I decided to blog a few weeks ago and finally got round to starting it today. I am focussing on the journey to become a mother when you don't have one yourself and the concerns/complications/confusion that brings. It won't be as depressing as it sounds, honest!
