Hi bloggers,

You may have noticed we're growing in size Smile. New bloggers are coming to us every day looking for a place in our community.

We'd like to give them a boost into our blogging network and help introduce them to some of you more established bloggers. We'd love new bloggers to be able to meet and greet the old, and we're excited by your joint blogging ventures where you're getting together to make a difference.

So we'll be introducing one new blogger a day in the third slot on our blog homepage and we're opening up this thread for newbies to the network to mingle and make merry with blogging pros. Welcome!

Hi, I'm Slummy to Yummy Mummy (on Twitter as @theslummymummy) and on Facebook here: www.facebook.com/pages/Slummy-to-Yummy-Mummy/120182608103875 - need more likers to get a better link!

I wrote one blog post last July then didn't open it again until the 23rd January. Since then I've been enjoying writing it. It's new so only a small band of followers and it would be great to hear from some other newbies. The website is: slummytoyummymummy.wordpress.com

I also have a second blog at gaelicmediummum.wordpress.com which is about our experiences of Gaelic medium education here in Glasgow, and our efforts to learn a new language.

I look forward to getting to know you all better.

Hi doubleshotlatte - I tried to comment but the bloomin' robot checker thing foiled me. I love your comics and would have followed you by email/twitter but I couldn't see a way to do it. I'm on twitter @theslummymummy if you would like a new follower. (I have my fingers crossed.)

Hello, I've been on MN since 2010 although I'm not much of a poster, and have been blogging for a few months but just joined the network today. My blog is here: CraftyTeuchter

It's mostly a craft blog with bits of my life with my 3 boys thrown in.

I've been enjoying looking through some of your blogs, there's so much to look at!

Hello

After a lot of prevaricating I have finally started to blog I am hoping to start writing a bit more seriously, possibly pitching for some freelance work at some point in the future, so the blog will hopefully be good practice. It's a bit of everything at the moment - I am hoping it will naturally become "about" something more specific when I figure out what direction I want it to take.

I am planning to check out some of the other blogs on here over the next few days. I like craft blogs, book reviews, family history stories and funny life musings, so if anyone wants to point me in the direction of their blogs, please do!

Hi. My blog is called EM_PHATIC, and I blog about life and writing in less than 500 words - I am emphatic about this waning of my waxing at 500 words as this feels, to me, like 'discipline' - something I still need (writing discipline for starters). I'll stop now. Do come and visit, where you might hear about my trying to combine being a mum of three with writing books, or about my 'thwarting' while having a platypus on my head and other such acts of indiscipline, and I too will visit you.

A fairly newbie blogger here - I started in October 2011 a few months after the birth of my daughter. I had quite a difficult labour, birth and recovery afterwards and I found that putting my feelings down on paper (and then on my blog to share with friends who live far from me) really helped me through it. I then shared it with my NCT friends which helped start more indepth conversations about our experiences and I am pleased that my blog has been shared with others since.

Looking forward to getting to know other bloggers and to learn more about the blogging world generally!

Jill2 · 06/03/2012 22:18

Hello, I am another new blogger, mommysnotes-yaffa.blogspot.com. My blog started because I wanted to jot down moments that I felt were important and that my daughters would like to know about, maybe if and when they became mothers. I have always enjoyed writing but I have decided become a bit more focused with my work and style. However, it is still a work in progress. I am very excited to join other new bloggers. I have really enjoyed reading the posts.

ebeautyspot · 07/03/2012 17:34
