Hi bloggers,

You may have noticed we're growing in size Smile. New bloggers are coming to us every day looking for a place in our community.

We'd like to give them a boost into our blogging network and help introduce them to some of you more established bloggers. We'd love new bloggers to be able to meet and greet the old, and we're excited by your joint blogging ventures where you're getting together to make a difference.

So we'll be introducing one new blogger a day in the third slot on our blog homepage and we're opening up this thread for newbies to the network to mingle and make merry with blogging pros. Welcome!

Hi LittleRedFarm, thank you so much for your lovely comment :) Really glad you like them :) How great that you make your own clothing! Maybe we can find ways to work together in the future - my aspiration is to make my own clothing line eventually! Do you have a blog/website? I will check through the thread to see :)

recipe-junkie.blogspot.com/ is where I witter. I am really excited to be here on mumsnet.

My first real cookbook obsession began when my son was diagnosed with leaukaemia - 6 years ago now. Thrown out of the corporate rat race (I was a lawyer) and into enforced domesticity, I set myself a goal to cook every single recipe out of How to be a Domestic Goddess. I never quite got there, but my son got better (he's been in remission for 2.5 yrs) and I've got a 51/2 yr old daughter too. I love a new cookbook and am always willing to take up the challenge to see if it offers the answer to my constant search to cook interesting, wholesome food for the family, while fitting in to the madness that is life with small children, dogs, chickens and a nearly full time job. Oh yes. Did I mention cake? Cake is big for me too.

By the way, I emailed a profile pic in but it hasn't appeared yet. Does anyone know how long that might take to show up?

Hi All
I am new to blogging and to mumsnet. My blog is about travelling and eating with the family while we travel, mainly in Europe so far. I have tips on what and where to eat as well as stories on food markets and cooking abroad.
I would really appreciate any comments or feedback and look forward to reading the huge variety of blogs you are all posting.

@Linn,
Yay that would be cool. My blog is here but it is about making your own toddler toys and activities and home life. Now that I am moving from individual handmade clothing pieces to more of a 'mass production' (not mass at all) approach I think I will start a blog about how to create your own children's clothing brand. Could be fun

Hello all, I wondered how you get your latest blog post to appear in the "recently posted" section. Do you have to do anything in particular?

Many thanks,
Ariel

Howdy! I'm not new to blogging but am new to Mumsnet - hello everyone! I'm making a real effort with my blog this year, instead of posting adhoc like I have in previous years, I'm posting almost every day now, sometimes twice a day! Really making a go of things...

amymouse · 31/01/2012 23:24

Hi, I am also a newbie and utterly lost to the world of sharing blogs! I blog over at nearlyeverythingbut.blogspot.com where I ramble on about the daily happenings of life as a single mummy and one of an especially beautiful ex-premature baby now whirlwind almost-toddler! I have a special interest in childrens literature also which I am trying to intergrate in. Looking forward to checking everyone else's links out

Lilchinchi · 02/02/2012 08:55

Hello!

I am totally new to this blogging world! I started to blog about 4 weeks ago but seem to only have one person reading them, which is fine, but more would be nice! So I joined mumsnet with the hope of getting more readers and finding some awesome blogs to read!

I blog mainly about family life and my quest to have another baby, which isn't happening nearly as quickly as I had hoped.

I aim to be funny and witty and to tackle the topics we all come up against, I guess its up to my readers to decide whether or not I do that!

So, my blog is at www.3becomefour.wordpress.com if you fancy having a nose at what I am about, and I look forward to making new friends :)

Hi fellow bloggers. I'm so excited to be finally blogging and also part of this great network.

My blog is called School Gate Style and is a combination of what myself and a group of other mums wear every day (I already have a MN contributor who emails me pics - I love the power of MN!). I was inspired by the Style and Beauty board on MN and my own slightly unhealthy obsession with what to wear every day and also with what other girls wear every day.
Anyway, come on over, I'd love some more followers Grin

AllPurple · 02/02/2012 14:00

LittleRedFarm, what a lovely blog site :) You're so creative, it's amazing! And well done for going more "mass"production :) I will definitely keep you in mind for my plans, sounds like you'll be a perfect person to ask for advice / partner up with or however it will work best for both of us :)

Hello Everyone!

I'm a new Bloglet, and would like to meet others. :)

I'm also happy to take a look at anyone's work.

I've been writing for years, and have finished one novel. My blog is my thoughts and short stories, but I'm also a new mummy so it's about that too.

You can see more here: millyangel5.blogspot.com/

Can't wait to get to know some more lovely writing people.

Ahoy! I have two blogs, my family blog Geekfamily 2.1, and my newest one about being admitted as a performer for the Olympics (and being grossly overweight, not a good combo) at Fatty Goes to the Olympics . Hope to see you all there!

Mylittlepea · 03/02/2012 20:19

Hello everyone, just popping on to say hi.....

New to mumsnet and just been added as a blogger.

Started blogging in nov 2010 just to pass the time as I was admitted to hospital with bleeding placenta previa when 32 weeks pregnant with my son. I was in for five and a half weeks before being allowed home on Christmas day with 3 day old Alex - the full story can be read - Www.cheekyboycausestrouble.blogspot.com . Have just started again with fortyoneandknackered.blogspot.com

Looking forward to chatting to fellow mum bloggers

Love Helen xxxx

Hi I am new too - I have been blogging since April last year - I started out blogging about my twin pregnancy and now that I have had my twins (they are 20 weeks) I blog about my life and little milk monsters and the scrapes we get in to. My blog is - 'A Twin Adventure' susiemcbeth.blogspot.com

I have been a Mumsnet member for a couple of months now, but this is my first time on the forum :)

Hi

I'm a writer, film director and mum-of-two. I'm also deaf and a proud parent to Isobel, who was diagnosed with cerebral palsy at 11 1/2 months old.

Even though I've been deaf nearly all my life, Isobel has transformed my perspective of disability. Although of course, we've had our black moments on or journey together, I can't stress enough how much richer my sense of humanity has become as a result. It's for that reason that I have been keeping a blog since Isobel's diagnosis.

Last October, I became a mum for the second time - and I am finding that my little boy, Benedict, is just as invaluable to my growing understanding of what it means to be a mother. Do have a read and let me have your thoughts on it.

Hello everyone, we're new to the site too and have been writing for our blog www.bluesandbows.wordpress.com for over 6 months now. We love talking about everything to do with babies and everything cute, providing insight and inspiration along the way. When my sister Chloe was pregnant with her first child Elodie we found it incredibly difficult finding gorgeous baby clothes from unique brands and useful products and even more we were so frustrated that people would buy gifts from the major retailers and more often than not she'd end up with 2 of the same thing.

So we aim to find all of the gorgeous brands, quality clothing, useful information and must have products and supply them to our readers and more importantly we just love everything cute!

Hope you enjoy it and please tell us what you think : )
