::drops MiniDs at train station with Maud's address printed on luggage labels tied to their coat buttons::

These three will be more than happy to indulge your love of throwing glitter and paint around, Maud. It is a skill they are most accomplished in.

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 08/11/2011 21:24

Because I am timid and hidebound by bourgeois convention, unlike the greatest artists.

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 08/11/2011 21:26

Oh, three evacuees. How lovely. Although I thought it was more conventional to evacuate the children out of London to the sticks less densely-populated areas.

Oh, wouldn't I love to bind dear Claude's hide...

LadyDamerel · 08/11/2011 21:28

Dear Claude, I do love him so although I prefer his best mate's daubings if I were being completely honest.

LadyDamerel · 08/11/2011 21:29

@ Massive.

SupermassiveLBD · 08/11/2011 21:32

Hmm my post about Strictly's HJ got lost. Here it is again, but sit down while you open it, and not just because it's a DM link. Shock

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 08/11/2011 21:32

Yet again!

Wot? Is LadyD dissing the great Claude? In whose favour?

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 08/11/2011 21:33

Crikey. That article in the DM is full of surprises.

TransylvanianVampiress · 08/11/2011 21:48

Very surprising Maud - ho'f have thought he had a computer generated muscle arrangement under his clothes - that certainly isn't natural!

Did you also see in the DM that Artem has fractured his spine so Holly is currently practising with Brendan although a term hopes to dance come Saturday! How with a fractured spineHmm can't be good for it!Confused

Maud - Can I send you my children too for some activity clubs?!Grin

Well I've just had 3 hours of Porter! Twas very lovely indeed! He got his top off a lot! is such a nice man the way he rescued those children!Grin

SupermassiveLBD · 08/11/2011 21:51

Ooh lucky you, Vampy, three hours of Porter sounds blissful, even if he hadn't got his top off.

DumSpiroSpero · 08/11/2011 21:52

Evening all!
It occurred to me yesterday that our get together is scheduled for same day as Unison strike that may mean schools closed?
How is everyone fixed for childcare if there is a strike that day?

DumSpiroSpero · 08/11/2011 21:55

Vampy I saw the end of that on tv the other night, I love it when he's talking yo his daughter on the link up and is reaching out to stroke her face & 'shushing' her when she's crying Sad.

Wonder if he's that sweet & sympathetic in RL unlike most blokes?

LadyDamerel · 08/11/2011 21:59

Oh, I need to have words with certain Academians.

Firstly, I had a little thud in the village shop yesterday as I was queuing behind a man wearing blue overalls and a black beany hat. Admittedly he had a very nice bottom broad pair of shoulders but he was also a good 5" too short. Didn't stop me nearly dislocating my neck trying to get a look at his face thugh Hmm.

Secondly, and far more seriously, one of my friends' DH's is growing a beard for the Movember thingummy. Now normally he does nothing for me but with a beard he bears a very slight resemblance to a certain Man and I have to confess to a bit of a thud when I clapped eyes on him in the playground this afternoon.

Now this is Not On.

I live in the middle of a farming community. The weather is cooling down, soon the village will be over run by men in blue overalls and beany hats. I can not spend the next 4 months thudding. I also can not thud at my friend's DH. It's inappropriate.

And if certain people ::hard stare:: didn't spend so much time extolling the virtues of farmhands and beards I wouldn't be having this problem.

SupermassiveLBD · 08/11/2011 22:11

Lucas had a set of blue overalls, too, she mentions, slyly.

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 08/11/2011 22:12

Oh, does Movember also include beards?

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 08/11/2011 22:13

I didn't know that.

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 08/11/2011 22:14

Beards are fab

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 08/11/2011 22:15

Some ladies find stubble quite appealing

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 08/11/2011 22:16

but I prefer beards

LadyDamerel · 08/11/2011 22:16

Right, that's it. I will be sending you the osteopath's bill that will almost certainly result from my next trip to the shop.

SupermassiveLBD · 08/11/2011 22:19

I should think so, LadyD, fi your local agricultural type man is doing what Lucas did en pleine village shop

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 08/11/2011 22:20

To what do you refer, Massive?

SupermassiveLBD · 08/11/2011 22:21

Gizzy looks so sweet in that stubbly pic, Maud. As if butter wouldn't melt in his wickle mouth.

SupermassiveLBD · 08/11/2011 22:23

You know very well to what I referred, Maud.
