Hello! I'm shaking with nerves here as this is the first time I've created a new thread on Mumsnet and this is a terrifying and rather momentous occasion. What if I do it wrong?!

Anyway, here's the inaugural post and it is, I think, a GOOD one:

A guest post about actors looking hot in Roman armour.

You're welcome. ;)

It is indeed a good one Wink

Just popped in to mark my place

MmeLindor. · 30/10/2011 11:05

Hurrah. Well done for starting the new thread.

It didn't go BOOM.

Going to stick my blog post from yesterday on here, since I wrote it late last night Family Bingo - for surviving visits to the parents/in laws.

Forgot to say that stocking up on gin helps too.

PetiteRaleuse · 30/10/2011 11:19

I read an interview with a bloke today who is just incredible and had to share it. At the risk of no-one clicking on my blog I should warn you in advance that it is about organ donation. Here

Not a jolly subject for a Sunday morning but it's an important one.

BsDad · 30/10/2011 11:56

Morning everyone. Here's my offering this week. I've been giving some thought to my son's sensory issues and how they impact on his life.

Another short oneon the news that women will get the right to give birth by cesarean. Obviously I think this is a good thing - choice is great.

my silent sunday blog post

Marking place. In the midst of maternal visitations so nothing new for now...

DeliriousTante · 30/10/2011 19:42

Marking place. Been at my mum's for the weekend so I had a lot to say on your post MmeLindor!

oh, congratulations, Butterfly. Love the new website. Your link to the website (on your blog) isn't clickable, btw.

Really looking forward to seeing the first collection. And finally got around to watchign the video. It is great, really very positive.

Only slightly of your hair.

MmeLindor. · 30/10/2011 21:42

Butterfly
Have you thought about doing a small teaser, maybe one piece of jewellery that you have found a lot of people like - put it on the website in order to encourage folk to sign up for the newsletter. We could tweet it about the place, maybe put on Pinterest

Are you using Pinterest? Think it is good for jewellery makers.

butterflyexperience · 30/10/2011 22:02

Thanks mmelindor :) I've made the website myself and really
pleased how its turned out. Thank you for the feedback. I'm yet to work on the blog for the website so hopefully that will be up and running by the end of the week. Great idea about a smaller teaser. I have bracelet that people like so shall put a picture of that. Not heard of pinterest will take a look and see hoe I can use it. Thanks again for such your feedback. :)

Dammit MmeG, how am I supposed to be concentrating on the million things I have to do now? Bad woman Grin

Butterfly, congratulations on the website. It looks gorgeous, and I have now 'liked' you on FB.

My post this week is probably not of much interest to many, its a review of this great food festival I attended a week ago.

Rocky Mountain Festival

I was scrolling down my blog list on Netvibes and stopped dead at MmeG's post. Most distracting. Must think of a way of posting hotties on the blog.

strawberry17 · 31/10/2011 07:49

Couldn't resist this laugh on my blog.

Butterfly - love your website!

MmeG - congratulations on popping your thread-starting cherry Wink

Today I have posed the idea of a campaign for real parenting experts on my blog

It has not been read by a doctor who has decided that I am wrong because doctors and nurses aren't always parents...which is quite clearly not what I'm writing about. I sigh heavily whenever I am deliberately misunderstood. Going to clarify that point in the blog now.!

MmeGuillotine · 31/10/2011 09:33

Thank you! It was slightly terrifying!

OK, I've joined the bloghop craze. I hope someone will join it - it's a Hallowe'en one for ghost stories and spookiness here

PetiteRaleuse · 31/10/2011 10:19

MmeGuillotine · 31/10/2011 10:42
