Fab.....

.... Dear Father Claus
Please may I have all three series of RH on DVD. If that is not possible for some reason please may I have UWLCAWHTBCW in person please if that would be easier? Failing that a walking talking PSM would be ideal.....Grin

ComeIntoTheSinisterGardenMaud · 31/10/2011 18:52

As Menacing says, you need all three series to appreciate the, dare I say, Euripidean story arc. Without them all, you would be reduced to the level of those part-time scholars who watch the work on fast-forward and only attend to the scenes with our protagonist in.

SupermenacingLBD · 31/10/2011 19:02

Which of course, we would never ever do. part from discounting S3.3 and S3.4 cos there aint a whisker of Gizzyness in them

ComeIntoTheSinisterGardenMaud · 31/10/2011 19:05

Ah yes, the whiskers of Gizziness

LadyDamnearhell · 31/10/2011 20:38

Vampy, in terms of Gizzy screen time and the phwoargh* factor, S2 is the best value but I agree that you need to start it from the beginning to understand the relationship between Gizzy/Marian/Robin/the Gang. I've got the Dutch boxset of all 3 series which was a lot cheaper than buying all 3 separately. The only downside is that there are no extras so no Hood Academy - boo. I'm not really considering buying the separate S1 DVD for that, no siree.

*How do ypu spell phworgh? None of the spellings I type looks right Confused.

Great article there, Spiro. I may leave it open for LordD to peruse Grin.

::moves Maud's Zimmer frame out of the way and tucks tartan blanket around her legs::

How's your back now, lovey?

TransylvanianVampiress · 31/10/2011 20:58

Not really convinced I could get another box set past the colonel just at the mo!! Although he's just agreed to the octonauts video so maybe my finger may click inadvertently!

Ladyd - I'm not sure if phwoooaaar is a real wordHmm I'm off to google to find out!!Grin

TransylvanianVampiress · 31/10/2011 21:00

there we go!!! Grin

SupermenacingLBD · 31/10/2011 21:04

Still thudding mightily at Maud's whiskery Gizzy pic, so the correct spelling of the word phwoooaaar will come in very handy. You might look up its origins while you are at it, Vampy. Grin

ComeIntoTheSinisterGardenMaud · 31/10/2011 21:06

::Wonders whether LadyD has got some port and lemon for her too::

I think phwoar is the usual spelling, although it is sometimes spelt phwooooaaaar for added emphasis.

::Whispers to Menacing: I thought you might approve of that one::

SupermenacingLBD · 31/10/2011 21:08

It certainly gladdened my heart, Maud. Thank you kindly

LadyDamnearhell · 31/10/2011 21:13

::brings in tray of port and lemon and a plate of Garibaldis for Maud::

::turns IF on Massive, ensuring Maud is well clear of the draught::

ComeIntoTheSinisterGardenMaud · 31/10/2011 21:16

::Sips genteelly at port and lemon::

::Decides she prefers Polish cordial and so tips the P&L into the aspidistra::

Another trick or treat for Menacing: Not by the hair on my chinny chin chin.

SupermenacingLBD · 31/10/2011 21:17

Thanks, LadyD. Mind you step round that melted puddle over there, that was the NeutroniumSFXs.

SupermenacingLBD · 31/10/2011 21:21

I didn't realise plants could get the hiccups.

Oh yesss, that pic is one of my faves. He looks so wistful there.

LadyD, are you enjoying these, too?

LadyDamnearhell · 31/10/2011 21:31

This is my current desktop image but until a couple of days ago it was...

I can't find it at the moment, especially once I came across this beauty.

SupermenacingLBD · 31/10/2011 21:37

He looks like an elf in that first one. Magical.

As for the leather-clad departure angle, that is a blend of the sublime and the ridiculous, as my eye is sometimes distracted by Vasiey striding out ahead of him like a malignant gnome.

LadyDamnearhell · 31/10/2011 21:42

They are all most wibblesome, Massive.

I still can't find my old desktop Sad. It was a beautiful semi-profile shot of S2 Gizzy, quite close up and outside I think and I can not for the life of me remember where I found it.

However, this has cheered me slightly: Make up your own caption for what Guy may be saying here...

ComeIntoTheSinisterGardenMaud · 31/10/2011 21:43

Ah, the gleaming pleather.

LadyDamnearhell · 31/10/2011 21:47

Found it at last. I adore this pic.

::throws own melted Neutronium SFXs on to pile with Massive's::

SupermenacingLBD · 31/10/2011 21:56

He doesn't need to actually say anything, LadyD. The picture paints a thousand words.

Now Maud, we need to find some nice cravat porn, to cheer you up.

What are you views on a foursome? Blush

ComeIntoTheSinisterGardenMaud · 31/10/2011 21:56

Ha! That was the one I had in mind (but couldn't find) when I was looking for a guyliner pic earlier.

TransylvanianVampiress · 31/10/2011 21:58

Menace - I agree. Vaisey is rather intrusive in that picture mainly due to the fact the Gizzy's derrière is tantalisingly close to bottom of the photo some more thigh coverage would improve the view somewhat I think!

Ladyd - profile of a beauty!Smile

ComeIntoTheSinisterGardenMaud · 31/10/2011 21:58

Oh swoonerama and thuds-a-gogo! If only Spiro could remove the other three no-hopers from the frame, it would be perfect.
