A bit of a debacle, as I understand it, Maud.

I had tried to calm my nerves beforehand by reading the wiki synopsis - I thought it would be more bearable that way - but still had a lump in my throat throughout. As I've often said, I had a great fondness for Harry and his pain when Ruth died was dreadful to behold.

Thought it left a fair bit to be desired on the whole, but couldn't fault Peter Firth or Nicola Walker.

Yes, I think so. There was a sense in places of loose ends being tied up any old how, but the scenes between Harry and Ruth were like something from a Jacobean tragedy.

I really felt this last series of spooks was a disappointment but then I suppose it always was going to be with ouR mAn gone. I wish there could havebeen a happy ending but the. It wouldn't have been very spooks-like would it? They like their drama, suspense, rubbish plot lines, graphic deaths!! Really really do think that they need better CPR training. Tariq, Elena and Ruth could surely have had some attempt made on them. But I think too deeply for spooks I feel!

I was quite surprised that a collapsed lung could finish Ruth off tbh (having had one and still being here myself ), but having Googled there are many different types of collapsed lung and it's definitely possible.

I suspect it may not have happened that quickly though, but I'm no expert and I guess it made for a good ending.

Was all a bit 'meh' though on the whole, I thought.
