Good morning. I have started the week with a rant about getting old before my time here

This weekly series of threads has been great for my blog. Great for hits, great for feedback and great networking and discovery of other blogs. So don't just post and run, try and take a moment to look through what we've all got to offer. There's so much variety and great writing on here.

Also, this week is the MN week for their Miscarriage Code of Care Campaign. MmeLindor has been co-ordinating the blogging side of this so will be able to remind us how we can get involved if we wish.

Goktor welcome and thanks for the quinoa recipe - I bought a pack and other than adding to salads from time to time I never know what to do with it.

Yes, I always wondered what you do with quinoa. Will have to try it...

Thank you for the welcome, PetiteRaleuse - glad the recipe might be useful! I'm thinking of making some more of those patties this weekend, and adding roasted peppers and sweetcorn to them too.

I really like quinoa for its versatility, and of course, ease of cooking! And because it's essentially quite bland, it readily takes on other flavours! [hsmile]

Aha! That would make sense - the artist who is painting my next book cover for me asked me to make a mood/inspiration board on there for her and I kind of went a bit crazy pinning things to it! :)
