Who's first, me or Small? Grin

OP posts:
ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 09/10/2011 14:04

It's gonna be a very long wait, Small!

TheSmallPrint · 09/10/2011 15:21

I know Maud but I live in hope.

I think that's why I'm not watching this year, no-one has sparked my interest. Jason D is making too many faces.

DumSpiroSpero · 09/10/2011 16:04

Two words, Small - Dan Lobb! Grin

Thanks for the 'OK' pic - wish he really would come and take me away from all this...Sad

Maud, as for 'what ails thee?' - I'm having one of those days when it would be quicker to tell you what doesn't.

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 09/10/2011 16:36

Oh dear, Spiro. Have a doughnut. Or, as we're on a collective diet, a peach.

DumSpiroSpero · 09/10/2011 16:43

I'd rather have the chap holding the box Maud!

Do you have days where you wonder if you are the only sane, rational person in your family?

That.

Russianpony · 09/10/2011 16:46

I agree Small - no-one will ever live up to MB until a ceRtAin man will agree to it!!!Grin He was rather nice - can't believe what a crush I had on him last autumn as well!! still do to be honest!!

Poor you Spiro - I'm for the donuts today Maud!

My super-organised Colonel is in one of his tidying frenzies, when nothing can possibly be right and I just can't cope with it!! He's stormed upstairs, so as usual 6 other days a week, I'll be doing children's tea and bath-time and then our dinner later! One night I'd like a night-off SAHM chores, especially as technically I'm trying to start working now too!!!AngrySmile

Anyway, best go and get on with it - while imaging a ceRtAin man hip-wiggling on the Ballroom floor!Grin

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 09/10/2011 16:47

Quite, Spiro. Just as we have Mars, Bringer of War, we have Lucas, Bringer of Doughnuts.

And I used to, but now I know I am the only sane rational person in my family I no longer devote much time to thinking about it!

Russianpony · 09/10/2011 16:48

Yes Spiro - having one of those myself today!!!

And yes, Matt Lobb is rather nice - have absolutely no idea who is until I saw him last night!!Grin But he'll do to pass the time while watching it with DD!

Russianpony · 09/10/2011 17:13

Maud you've made me think. If Lucas is bringer of doughnuts have we all put on weight since joining the academy!HmmConfused

LadyDamerel · 09/10/2011 17:26

If one does not focus too closely on Matt Baker's face it is almost possible to convince oneself it is another Man dancing, especially if one's eyes linger on the :ahem: derriere.

Spiro, muchos sympathy. I have been running around chasing my proverbial tail all day while LordD 'writes job application forms' aka sitting on the sofa watching the rugby and the F1.

I am Not Impressed (and I have raging PMT so he is treading on very dangerous ground)!

DumSpiroSpero · 09/10/2011 17:30

Am so feeling your pain Lady D - Mr & Miss Spiro hogged the TV for X factor last night, and when I got up this morning and tried to put on Strictly on catch up I couldn't because Mr S was recording the F1 and the sodding rugby! Angry

I may just be off to Strictly website now to see if your suggestion works anything to keep me occupied while peeling sprouts!

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 09/10/2011 19:35
. (Start at 2:50 if you don't want the preamble)
LadyDamerel · 09/10/2011 20:27

Phwoargh, I had such a crush on Mark Ramprakash when he was on Strictly.

That's cheered me up, Maud!

DumSpiroSpero · 09/10/2011 20:43

Karen was a sweetie too - I had a lump in my throat watching the scoring afterwards Blush!

TheSmallPrint · 09/10/2011 20:45

A lovely mover indeed

I am just watching X Factor and accurately predicting who they are putting through and in the right order. I'm in the wrong job me. Anyway, best go and get Twigs a cup of tea with a sneaky drop of Bromide before Spooks starts.

TheSmallPrint · 09/10/2011 20:46

There's an advert for Real Steel on tv, I am tempted...

LadyDamerel · 09/10/2011 20:49

::whispers::

I had a teeny girl crush on Karen too, I think she's gorgeous with a figure to die for. Lucky bag.

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 09/10/2011 21:11

We saw a trailer for Real Steel - and an interview with dear Hugh on the red carpet - last night. It looks exciting in a whizz-bang kind of way.

::returns attention to Spooks::

LadyDamerel · 09/10/2011 21:15

::watches Spooks from behind safety of cushion and laptop screen::

This is far too tense for me tonight.

::Eek::

DumSpiroSpero · 09/10/2011 21:29

I am watching it 20 minutes behind you all so may have to go off comms for a bit!

TheSmallPrint · 09/10/2011 21:36
ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 09/10/2011 21:46

The last time I saw acting this wooden, it was The Woodentops.

Russianpony · 09/10/2011 22:05

Dimitri was wearing too many clothes that's my only comment on that!!Wink

TheSmallPrint · 09/10/2011 22:08

Right I'm orf to bed, all that drama has left me drained . Night all.
