Aren't we all?

There is room for one more over in the Student Union Bar, if anyone's interested. Twigs?

Blimey that was quick, I think they got rid of my thread already

SupermassiveLBD · 08/10/2011 22:19

Perhaps they thought it was rood, somehow, Small. I feel such a heel now. Blush

Maybe you have been watching too much RH, Small

Right, it's past my bed time so I'm off. I am very disappointed that on the one night I have am free to play on the internet you are all doing something More Important.

Night all.

SupermassiveLBD · 08/10/2011 22:52

Nighty night, Small. I was not doing anything more important, at least.

Hope to see you again when I get my connection back.

OP posts:
TheSmallPrint · 08/10/2011 22:54

Except you Massive . See you soon.

DumSpiroSpero · 08/10/2011 22:56

Night Small - I've been looking in, but writing at the same time so a bit distRActed!

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 08/10/2011 23:13

::Staggers in after an evening of High Culture::

Nice place, Massive. Very zen. All the engineers I knew at university spent all their time in the bar.

DumSpiroSpero · 08/10/2011 23:17

Oh Maud that pic is gorgeous - especially when zoomed in!

What have you been up to this evening then?

PassTheTwiglets · 08/10/2011 23:19

I do love those RH arrows, Massive - very clever.

Don't talk to me about diets. I have about 4 stone to lose and for the last 3 years or so I have been losing a stone, putting it back, losing it, putting it back. Aside from the year I got pregnant with DD I've been overweight for around 20 years and I am very scared that if I've got this far without managing to lose it then I'm never going to do it :( My last vestige of hope is when TwigBoy goes to school and I get more time to myself and I intend to join the gym then (I can never find time for exercise now). LOL when I was putting TwigBoy to bed the other night though. I was sitting in bed with him, reading him a story and when I finished reading I got up. The little darling said "oh goody, there's room for more toys in my bed now that your ginormous bottom has gone" :o

SupermassiveLBD · 08/10/2011 23:20

Hello, Maud, what have you been up to then, in the name of Culture?

That bar looks rather too classy for the sort student engineers would drink in,
and the clientele a little too refined and sophisticated.

PassTheTwiglets · 08/10/2011 23:22

Hope you had a fun evening, Maud. The nearest I get to culture these days is when the yoghurt's past its sell-by date...

Anyhoo, I'm orf to bed. Bitey knight!

DumSpiroSpero · 08/10/2011 23:25

Evening Twigs - late one for you - X factor or Strictly?

SupermassiveLBD · 08/10/2011 23:26

Night, Twigster, and see you soon, i hope!

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 08/10/2011 23:26

Having failed to get into a Shakespeare production at the local theatre, e went to see a not conventionally handsome spy man, aka Johnny English.

I too am fed up with being fat Rubenesque. Perhaps we could encourage each other to forego the Polish cordial and ratafia biscuits in favour of Malvern water and grapes? I hate the gym, though. You'd have to force me there at gunpoint.

I hope you spanked Twigboy soundly, Twiggy.

SupermassiveLBD · 08/10/2011 23:34

Grapes are quite high calorie, actually Maud. Strawberries are better. Or .....apples.

OP posts:
DumSpiroSpero · 08/10/2011 23:37

Is anyone else watching/has seen 'Skin' (on BBC2 atm). It's horrific. I would want to kill anyone that treated Miss Spiro like that.

When you think what a short time ago all this crap was happening too... Angry Sad

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 08/10/2011 23:38

I know, grapes contain a lot of sugar, but I'm hoping to coax my grapevine into fruiting so then it would be rude not to eat them, right? I already grow apples and strawberries. We all need to get our five a day.

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 08/10/2011 23:39

No, Spiro, we're watching MASH.

DumSpiroSpero · 08/10/2011 23:40

Probably not such a bad idea, Maud...

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 08/10/2011 23:45

Well, my best idea now is to go to bed. See you all tomorrow, ladies (and lurkers)!
