LOL Spiro! I notice the first comment is from someone called twig9 - that's not me, honest! (I'd be twig1 : )

Right then, Operation Not Fat Cow is underway. 2 slices toast with Vegemite (no butter) for brekkie, Chinese Quorn oil-free stir-fry thingy with jacket potato for dinner and for lunch. And only fruit and a gazillion litres of Coke Zero in between. And my dieting saviours - a Skinny Cow mint ice-cream for afters tonight (same calories as a banana!)

I had one slice of toast with Marmite which is my normal breakfast - I don't think I can eat any less than that denies the fact that I had two bacon rolls for breakfast yesterday

I am about to go and make a cappucino and eat the remains of SB Major's lunch pizza (I craftily cut it into rectangles to fit in his lunch box bwah ha ha ha)

Shouldn't be eating less than that anyway Small, so don't feel bad about it! Very occasionally I can have just fruit for breakfast but I usually have toast or crumpets. Lunchbox pizza is going to be my danger zone this week - we're having healthy pitta bread pizzas for tea on Friday and I'm making extra so MissT can have them in her lunchbox. But I find it sooo hard to resist them!

Well operation eat less has failed here already!! Just had a chocolate digestive and I'm going out for lunch with a friend for her birthday!! Ah well, next Monday is another week, but then it's half-term and that just leads itself to extra eating.....!

Am getting all excited 'cos am preparing Christmas cake this afternoon and then cooking it tomorrow. I hate Christmas cake but love making it. I've seen an amaaaazing cake that I would love to have a go at but it looks so much work (not that difficult, just extremely time-consuming). It has little windows that light up, isn't it beautiful?!

Woah, that was quite shocking!! Most of them just make me giggle but the one that was very depressing was the poor girl who said that she would never marry because she would never find anyone like Richard. First instinct was "woah - loony!" but then it just made me feel desperately sad that somebody would think like that :(

You're mean to Small, Twigs - that would more likely be my version of the cake!!! I love that design though - but who has enough time for that?! I've never made Christmas cake, maybe this should be the year to do it? I've made MIL's secret family recipe Christmas puddings since I was allowed the recipe as a wedding present! Jolly yummy, but oh my word, so time-consuming having to boil it for the best part of a day!! Suppose that time must be coming up soon too!

Anyway, hope you've all had good days - mine has been infinitely better than yesteRdAy (although that couldn't have been hard!). Hope yours has been too Spiro?
