Spiro - I'm so with you. Yesterday I really made sure that everything was done before I had any me time and I was stressed, pissed off and just incredibly grumpy by children's bedtime!!

Big ((cuddles)) for Spiro. I can relate to that so much. I find I function best if I set myself say, a couple of hours doing 'chores' then do something I like, whether that's here, fanfics, YT or ironing to Gizzy (if I'm feeling a bit virtuous) for the rest of the day half an hour.

Goodness knows how I'm going to manage when I have to go back to proper work.

I've been helping out a lot at the MiniDs educational establishment over the last fortnight but according to LordD it doesn't count as working because 'it's not paid' .

Never mind the fact that the washing is up to date, the house is fairly tidy and clean 99% of the time, his dinner is usually burnt on the table/keeping warm in the oven when he gets home, the MiniDs have read/done homework/phonics etc, etc, etc. No salary = no value .

If he wasn't quite nice the rest of the time I'd have unleashed some Gizzy fury on his arse .
