Mmm I rather like the look of the doc in the white shirt with the bed hair.

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 02/10/2011 22:20

I haven't watched tonight's Spooks as we went into warp drive and watched a Star Trek film and now I'm watching the John Lennon film. But I'll aim to catch up tomorrow.

You know how it is, RussianPony. On YT, one thing leads to another.

SupermassiveLBD · 02/10/2011 22:25

There is something about the thing DT does with his eyes that I find too silly to be sexy. Cute, maybe. but not a turn-on for me.

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 02/10/2011 22:28

Nor for me, but I know the Blackpool one has amused in the past and I thought the soundtrack for the last one was familiar.

LadyDamerel · 02/10/2011 22:29

Ooh, Spooky stuff. The irradiated anarchist from Spooks has come back from the dead and is now a terrorist in SB2.

DumSpiroSpero · 02/10/2011 22:31

Tennant is only sexy because he's copying the Master!

Orange jumpsuit - check

Finger licking - check

Big sword - check

I'm with Massive, cute & funny, yes - but why anyone would want to do the nasty with him passes me by entirely (sorry Twigs!)

He also is a bit too skinny and possibly (and I may be wrong) short for me. I'm guessing he is probably taller than the picture of him I have in my head, but I tend to imagine him as about 5' 8" max, and anything less than 6' just doesn't do it for me God knows why as I'm a complete short arse!

Not yet Maud. I will study it in great detail in the morning. Off sleeping now!!

I think I have a crush on DT's accent as well as him. But he has nothing on the main man!Wink

Knight. Sweet dReAms all! Assuming you will twigs after drinking wine and eating cheese all day!!Grin

Russianpony · 02/10/2011 22:35

Spiro - it's definitely a simple crush. Certainly wouldn't want to do anything with him!! the man himself however....Wink

Especially if he's that short!! Can't have a man shorter than me! RA it is - all six ft 2 of him!Grin

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 02/10/2011 22:36

But isn't the Master John Simm aka number 5709 on Twiggy's LoL?

::Shows off her newfound Doctor Who knowledge::

Russianpony · 02/10/2011 22:37

Getting into your sci fi there Maud!!Grin

SupermassiveLBD · 02/10/2011 22:39

DT has a big sword? Confused But I didn't last all the way through the vid, you understand.

Knighty night, RP.

DumSpiroSpero · 02/10/2011 22:43

Well you certainly don't want a big sword that can't stay the distance do you Massive? Wink

I had forgotten just how thudworthy SB3 is, Maud - thanks for the reminder!

Especially love the bit at the end:

"So, where do you want me to sleep then?"

Who said anything about sleeping?

OP posts:
PassTheTwiglets · 02/10/2011 22:44

Well you can all SHUSH YOUR NOISE until you have seen DT in Casanova. You will get it then, I promise you :) I do see what you mean though - my cousin calls him The Gurning Meerkat :)

This is the stuff, no?

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 02/10/2011 22:45

Not getting into it, merely being contaminated by The Girl's enthusiasm. What I'm really getting into is the Victorian novel, so I'm off to bed.

Good knight, one and all.

PassTheTwiglets · 02/10/2011 22:48

Night, Maudie. I'm off to bed to. Perchance to dream about Dimitri (that's not cheating on Lucas, is it? If someone took away all your Cadbury's Dairy Milk then you'd be allowed to like Galaxy, yes?)

Bitey Knight, all.

SupermassiveLBD · 02/10/2011 22:48

And that is seriously sinister stubble, too, Twigs.Like an alien infestation.
Shock

Who said anything about sleeping?

My thoughts exactly, Spiro.

PassTheTwiglets · 02/10/2011 22:49

Well he is from Gallifrey, Massive...

SupermassiveLBD · 02/10/2011 22:51

Night Twigs and Maud, but i'm still waiting on that explanation of DT's sword. I knew about the sonic screwdriver, is that what you meant? Confused

DumSpiroSpero · 02/10/2011 22:51

ROFL at Gurning Meerkat - I can see what people see in him, I just don't see it myself iykwim.

How tall is he in RL?

Think I am going to have to call it a night shortly as I can hear Mr S on the move.

Sweet dReAms everyone, in case I suddenly go off comms!

OP posts:
SupermassiveLBD · 02/10/2011 22:55

Same here from the Island jury. And Twigs, you should be ashamed of yourself. Grin

I can quite enjoy DT, Spiro, for want of better, until he starts to do the thing wih his eyes.

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 02/10/2011 22:57

::Looks back at you::

But I did see him in Casanova, Twiggy - the only classic novel adaptation I missed in the last decade was North and South but I'm making up for lost time now - but am still unmoved by his rodenty charms.

PassTheTwiglets · 03/10/2011 07:06

How tall is he in RL?

He wasn't hugely tall, I seem to recall... I do get how people are put off buy the grinning and the silliness - he definitely does that. But he does other bits as well, for me :)

But I did see him in Casanova, Twiggy

Oh I thought we had a conversation here where nobody had seen it! Did you like it, DT aside? I think it's been one of my favourite TV shows EVER. So funny. DrTwigs and I still quote bits from it now. In fact, a due a rewatch soon. Oh and I adored how the music - that orchestral version of Living In The Past gives me goosepimples. ^ LOL @ 'rodenty', btw :)

DumSpiroSpero · 03/10/2011 07:24

Speaking of classic novel adaptations - having spent the best part of 6 months wading through 'Far From the Madding Crowd' my mum gave me the bloody DVD of it yesterday (having had it all along).

I know it's not the same as reading the book, but....

Anyway, Happy Monday everyone (an oxymoron if ever there was one)

OP posts:
PassTheTwiglets · 03/10/2011 07:45

Oh I dunno, Spiro - both kids off to school... I love Monday mornings :)

Russianpony · 03/10/2011 07:54

Argh!! Back to work for me this Happy Monday morning for the first time in 4 years!! Shock. Only doing the one client Hmm may need to think of another way of saying that! this morning and I'm not charging. Trying a loss leader or whatever the technical term is as this the lady who encouraged me to start up my business.

By the way, did you hear that Armitage has been banned for bad behaviour on the rugby pitch? Grin
