WARNING

Don't forget your hard hat, hi-viz gear and parachute. We lost a careless vice-principal this way only last year.

Mr Potato Head is a less than charitable name for Mr Penry-Jones, Vampy as I think he has a face like a spud. His alias is Mr Maris Piper.

TransylvanianVampiress · 12/11/2011 23:23

I must go sleeping now! Sleep well all. thanks again for all your support. For 2D friends you're pretty strong to have around!Smile. Do hope I can meet you at some point. xxxSmile

DumSpiroSpero · 12/11/2011 23:24

Rupert Penry Jone = potato head.

I thought I was a bit mad on the BAB front but I got chatting to several mums who were as bad as me in there yesterday, we were all comparing outfits for the bears!

Had to smile at the woman with her grandson who had just built a bunny and was getting him a stormtrooper outfit! Grin

TransylvanianVampiress · 12/11/2011 23:24

Ah I see. Thanks Maud. Never saw the attraction in that one!! But no one can ever compare to my LN!Smile

TransylvanianVampiress · 12/11/2011 23:25

::looks back again::

The grandson or grandmother had built the storm trooper bunny Spiro?!HmmConfusedGrin

DumSpiroSpero · 12/11/2011 23:26

Sweet dReAms, Vampy.

And I'm sure we will meet up - if not on the 30th we'll definitely arrange something in the new year.

TransylvanianVampiress · 12/11/2011 23:27

I've been mean on the BAB front - DD has tried to persuade me but to no avail! I'm a very mean mummy when it comes to things like that which I seem a waste of money!

DumSpiroSpero · 12/11/2011 23:27

Grandson!

Off to watch Merlin now - bitey knight all!

TransylvanianVampiress · 12/11/2011 23:27

ReAlly am off now!!Grin

LadyDamerel · 12/11/2011 23:28

Night Vampy! Sleep well.

@ Mr Maris Piper, Maud.

DumSpiroSpero · 12/11/2011 23:28

Miss S is not into dolls or anything like that, so a bit of indulgence on one bear I can live with!

LadyDamerel · 12/11/2011 23:29

Night Spiro.

Maud, may I suggest you turn in too? You want to be firing on all cylinders for your encounter with Messire Higgins tomorrow...

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 12/11/2011 23:30

I fear BAB is a cross between Hamley's and the Hotel California - once your daughter checks in, you and your credit card can never leave!

Good night both!

::Sits and wonders what to do::

::Wonders whether Mr Thornton would like a game of canasta and a warming mug of cocoa::

SupermassiveLBD · 12/11/2011 23:30

Storm trooper bunny?!! Now i've heard it all. Grin

Night night, with or without the 'k', Vampy. I hope tomorrow is serene and trauma-free.

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 12/11/2011 23:35

Thank you for your solicitude, LadyD. My cylinders are all in fine fettle, I assure you, in readiness for tomorrow.

::Turns back to the canasta table::

LadyDamerel · 12/11/2011 23:36

Maud, the bears/rabbits/dogs/Smurfs/random other non-bear animals on their own are not too expensive. However, once you are sucked into coerced into buying dresses, shoes, knickers, handbags, hairclips, coats, etc for the aforementioned article then the ££ increases at a truly terrifying rate.

One pair of bear knickers in there costs more than a 5 pack of granny pants in M&S Shock.

SupermassiveLBD · 12/11/2011 23:36

And I supose I better turn in too. After all, it's the middle of the knight here.

OP posts:
SupermassiveLBD · 12/11/2011 23:39

Bear knickers? In my youth, bears always went commando.

Now that is a beautiful image to take to bed with me. Thank you very much Maud. If I don't see you before your expedition, please give Mr Higgins a big snog chaste kiss on the cheek from me and have a fabulous night.

LadyDamerel · 12/11/2011 23:41

Two beautiful images to take with me to bed.

Night, Massive too.

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 12/11/2011 23:41

::Interrupts the canasta::

Oh, I know. I think I mentioned here our trip to BAB during the summer holidays. It was (for me) underwhelming - they don't have to do very much to build the bloomin' bear, do they? - and of course you get sucked into the 'puter games and endless email exhortations to come and buy more overpriced tut. Harrumph.

What are these granny pants of which you speak?

And good or very naughty knight, Massive. Is Gizzy at your place tonight? Or are you going to beard him in his den?

LadyDamerel · 12/11/2011 23:45

::refuses to acknowledge that that picture is growing on her every time she sees it::

I remember you mentioning that now, Maud. The whole place gives me the mild heebie-jeebies and the women who work there are so manic.

::shudders::

Fortunately our closest one is not very close at all so I have a cast iron excuse to avoid it.

::miserable old bag emoticon::

SupermassiveLBD · 12/11/2011 23:46

That would be telling, Maudie. Wink Enjoy your canasta, and give my regards to dear Mr Higgins

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 12/11/2011 23:49

As you know, LadyD, I prefer pictures of my affianced, but that one I think is lovely. It puts me in mind of this.

LadyDamerel · 12/11/2011 23:56

Oh yes. Simply gorgeous.

Must go to bed now, though how I will sleep with all those visual treat swirling through my mind I don't know.

N'night!
