WARNING

Don't forget your hard hat, hi-viz gear and parachute. We lost a careless vice-principal this way only last year.

All done in the best possible taste!

LadyDamerel · 12/11/2011 21:21

::picks lock::

::turns on lights::

::wipes down several dusty cases of PC::

This'll do for now until our next establishment is completed.

::chucks Aubusson down on floor and arranges chaise longoo by dodgy gas heater::

::waits for rest of homeless waifs to stumble by::

TransylvanianVampiress · 12/11/2011 21:28

Bit more draughty than usual but it'll do til the commune is ready!!Grin. might just need a few more chaRActers to join us to keep the heat up!

How emotional was Gareth's military wives choir on the Festival of Remembrance?! We need a poppy emoticon!! This Angry isn't quite right!!Grin

TransylvanianVampiress · 12/11/2011 21:29

Where was Henry Africa's? Whiteladies road?Hmm

LadyDamerel · 12/11/2011 21:33

Hooray, you found me! I was getting a bit paranoid lonely.

I haven't seen the choir thing this time round.

Henry Africa's is indeed Whiteladies Rd, just up from the stretch where the BBC is. It's sort of the start of the section with all the pubs/bars/clubs.

TransylvanianVampiress · 12/11/2011 21:37

Yes I just googled it! I lives round tr corner in my 4th year too! And my sister lived round the corner in my 1st year! We must have crossed sticky carpets paths on whiteladies at some point!

TransylvanianVampiress · 12/11/2011 21:38

Just realised this thread was set up a couple of months ago! Is this the emergency one then?! Will the others find us?Confused

SupermassiveLBD · 12/11/2011 21:44

Ew, it smells a bit musty in here! Grin
Vampy, if it's top of the list in Sleb Twaddle, I am sure no one will miss it.

I have seen the suspension bridge, but never stopped off in Bristol, alas.

LadyDamerel · 12/11/2011 21:44

This is an emergency home until someone with more imagination than me comes along, although in reality we will probably stay here until we fill it up.

I stumbled into it as I was heading for the carriage park and thought it would do nicely.

LadyDamerel · 12/11/2011 21:46

I'd open the windows, Massive but it's freezing outside and the heater is struggling as it is.

::collects Hi-Viz jackets and hardhats from lockers and hands them out::

Glad you found us though. How's things?

TransylvanianVampiress · 12/11/2011 21:48

I quite like it! Homely!!Grin

Bristol & boobiesHmm. Well I've got boobies, I'm fairly sure hope Lady D hasHmm and we both went to university there so yup definitely connected!!Grin

SupermassiveLBD · 12/11/2011 21:49

Great thanks, I dealt with most of the boring RL tasks I had lined up for the day so I'm feeling quite chipper.

OP posts:
TransylvanianVampiress · 12/11/2011 21:55

We like chipper Massive!!Grin

I'm watching festival of remembrance - always gets me emotional!Smile

LadyDamerel · 12/11/2011 21:56

It's alright, Massive. I am sober as a judge tonight.

::pats Massive quickly on shoulder and retreats to other side of the room::

TransylvanianVampiress · 12/11/2011 22:01

TransylvanianVampiress · 12/11/2011 22:03

I'm sure I just saw DC our PM wipe away a tear. The colonel always said he was very supportive when he met him out in Afghan.

PassTheTwiglets · 12/11/2011 22:06

:(

ROFL at LadyD's calculator joke :o

You youngsters... I am not a huge way off from 43 Shock

You are all joking about not knowing a connection between Bristol and boobies, yes? There is an extrmeley obvious connection to a Londoner but I'm sure you all know this anyway and are just joking. Sorry, I am a bit thick today :)

LadyDamerel · 12/11/2011 22:10

Grin @ Twigs being thick today. It's a problem I struggle with frequently, m'dear, don't fret.

I would like to claim the boobies/bristol thing was deliberate but it wasn't - I'll take the credit for it though Grin.

PassTheTwiglets · 12/11/2011 22:11

I still don't get it! So you all do know the connection or you don't? You do, yes?

LadyDamerel · 12/11/2011 22:15

::ennunciates v-e-r-y s-l-o-w-l-y::

Boobs are also known as Bristols, yes?

::forgets what point she was going to make::

::wanders away looking confused::

SupermassiveLBD · 12/11/2011 22:16

Lovely Gizzy vid, thanks, LadyD but the headphones are still AWOL

OP posts:
TransylvanianVampiress · 12/11/2011 22:16

Nope I ain't got a clue!! I just find it childishly funny to shout BOOBIES! ::sniggers again a la Joey from Friends:: Grin

PassTheTwiglets · 12/11/2011 22:17

OK, you do know :) I'm never sure how far outside London rhyming slang travels :)

Trivia - Daphne and Ros from Frasier set up a company called Bristol Cities Productions. 'Cos nobody in the US wouldh get it and they thougt it'd be funny. I quite like that :)
