It definitely wasn't all wig - have you seen the ThisMorning/GMTV interview where he has S3 Gizzy hair but it's kind of tied up/gelled back in the most hideous way?

My only contact with EastEnders these days is the big dance numbers they do for CiN. I watched it when it first started but soon gave up as it was like Teach Yourself Social Work, as they tried to tick off all the Contemporary Social Problems.

Yes I have Lady D, hence my thinking it was extensions rather than a full wig. It's not the greatest look but you've got to admire his commitment.

Possibly a combination of both if he started RH before filming Spooks with longer hair, and then needed it shorter towards the end. It certainly doesn't look like a full wig.
