Not entirely tasteful, but it's what we all hoped really isn't it?

PassTheTwiglets · 16/09/2011 23:29

That must've been when I was watching with MissTwigs and wasn't able to concentrate fully as she witters on throughout. That was quite... I don't know... touching? Bless his little black socks.

Well time I was orf to bed. C'mon PSM, follow me... night night.

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 16/09/2011 23:33

Good night, Twiggy!

DumSpiroSpero · 16/09/2011 23:38

Oh, his face when he says, "Marion, I have dreamt of this day..." and the little crack in his voice...wibble!

Right, episode 1.11 here I come! Grin

DumSpiroSpero · 16/09/2011 23:39

Night Twigs!

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 16/09/2011 23:45

Yes, he gets very husky but he's still an unwashed, leather-clad homicidal maniac.

::Taking advantage of Massive's absence to utter seditious thoughts::

Right, I'm off to bed too. Nighty night.

DumSpiroSpero · 16/09/2011 23:46

Night night!

Although on the subject of seditious thoughts:

for anyone with the stomach to watch it

::Looks back at you::

Oh, that is truly horrific. Vile and offensive. I'm talking, of course, about the soundtrack.

DumSpiroSpero · 17/09/2011 01:13

Oh my Giddy Aunt!

I have just done my S1.11 homework so many times I have lost count

(Scene begins at 19 minutes in btw!)

It wasn't quite as I remembered it and I now think Twigs, that you may well have been correct in assuming he had mucky intentions lucky, lucky, stupid girl

There are so many other outstanding quotes from that episode too:

"If a peasant defies us we must punish them...hard." (I know, I know - it's the way he says it, not the intention behind the words)

"Perhaps there is something else I can do for you?" (Would you like the short or the long list?)

Incidentally, if you haven't already tried listening to that episode on the laptop with headphones on, I thoroughly recommend it. Grin

LadyDamerel · 17/09/2011 01:39

I think he'd have got as far as "be w..." and I'd have leapt

I'm not sure I'd have actually needed asking at all!

I roared at both of those. I think that's the nail pretty much hit on the head as far as my sentiments go Grin.

LadyDamerel · 17/09/2011 01:43

Spiro, there are so many of Guy's lines that can be answered that way if you have a dirty mind take them out of context. I find it most distracting when I'm contemplating how delectable his bottom looks in leather the deeper meaning in the dialogue.

PassTheTwiglets · 17/09/2011 07:25

"If a peasant defies us we must punish them...hard."

Been at the fanfic again, have we? Wink

ROFLMBO at Would you like the short list or the long list :o

Re. be with me, it was only when Massive mentioned it the other night that I realised what he meant. I'm sure you're right, after all, they wouldn't talk about that in a kids show - I'm just damn sure that's how the director suggested he say it :) Remember the famous stage direction for Mr Darcy? :)

LadyD, you were up late! Hope you had a fun evening. What about you, Spiro - did you have a good one with your couch camping? (you must have a very comfy sofa, btw - I could never sleep on ours!)

DumSpiroSpero · 17/09/2011 08:37

We do have a very, comfy if completely hideous sofa, although I was a bit fidgety last night so I crawled off to bed eventually.

Ladies - you have both made me Smile and God knows I need it this morning!

OP posts:
PassTheTwiglets · 17/09/2011 09:11

What is in 1.11 then, Spiro - why was that a goodie?

It must be the mother in me because when we were watching 3.1 last night and he was wandering round the holy land with his black leather on, all I could think was "the poor lamb must be boiling, why doesn't he wear a nice, white shirt?" There was a very IF moment though, I was Blush at my thoughts and was hoping MissTwigs wouldn't notice! Will look for screencap, hold on....

PassTheTwiglets · 17/09/2011 09:14

Wait, just realised I coudl look in the gallery to find out about 1.11 - ah, I see, it's the be with me one :)

Here is what I was IF'ing at last night. Oh, that throat...

DumSpiroSpero · 17/09/2011 10:24

Did you know you can download a free Kindle Reader for your PC/laptop?

I was reading a fanfic last night and when I went back to it this morning I noticed the writers note saying it was an edited version and the full text was available on Kindle.

Well worth £2.10 for the ebook is all I'm saying...Wink Grin

OP posts:
DumSpiroSpero · 17/09/2011 10:26

Oh, that throat...

Who are you kidding Twigs? It was 3 stills earlier that really got the IF going wasn't it? Wink

::gets industrial crop sprayer for further application of bromide to the thread::

DumSpiroSpero · 17/09/2011 11:18

Has anyone seen the TopMan T-shirt thread? I presume the offensive one has been withdrawn as the link goes to nothing, but I looked at the rest and spotted these which made me chuckle:

Pogonophiles delight!

Belated birthday pressie for the Man?!

Morning Maud! Anything exciting planned for today?

We're off to see the Smurfs later Confused!

OP posts:
DumSpiroSpero · 17/09/2011 11:20

Could you use the bromide like sheep dip? Maybe that'd work Hmm...

OP posts:
ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 17/09/2011 11:38

Hmm. If we're going to apply it like sheep dip, we'll need a big strong farmer to throw the hoydens lambs into the pool and a lifeguard to make sure they don't drown.

So, form an orderly queue you wantons ladies.

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 17/09/2011 11:39

Gotta dash. Back tonight.

DumSpiroSpero · 17/09/2011 11:41

Maud - how can you talk about bromide then post that pic from 'Cold Feet' Shock Confused

Talk about dichotomy...Grin

LadyDamerel · 17/09/2011 11:54

I am so glad his arm is where it is, in that shot. Blimey O'Reilly.

Had a lovely night gossiping with my bf and drinking wine then came back to laugh at LordD and his cronies 'playing' poker.

Spiro, which fanfics are available on Kindle? I hate reading off the computer when I'm in bed so having some on my Kindle would be fab.

DumSpiroSpero · 17/09/2011 11:57

Will PM it to you!
