Ah, what a great start to my evening from Mr Big Stuff, there, Maud. (great name, there Spiro! Grin )

I bet he would ruffle a few feathers if he stalked into Bravissimo himself, along with his choon.

LadyDamerel · 01/09/2011 21:15

::hefts bosoms::

Bravissimo is my undergarment manufacturer of choice too, Maud.

LOVE the link, thank you. It has soothed my frazzled nerves.

PassTheTwiglets · 01/09/2011 21:30

Oh for a Bravissimo nearby... its just too annoying by mail order.

LadyD, you are right about the awful grammar in GP, but you won't notice the grammar by the time you get to Chapter 9 :o

LadyDamerel · 01/09/2011 21:38

Currently on Ch8, no intention of stopping before I finish 9 Grin.

Is it based on a real Spooks episode? Having not seen any Spooks I have no idea.

SupermassiveLBD · 01/09/2011 21:38

Oh to need a Bravissimo nearby! Sad

SupermassiveLBD · 01/09/2011 21:40

You have to see Spooks, LadyD, Lucas is divine.

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 01/09/2011 21:41

Ah, Twiggy. I was just browsing the Bravissimo website and contemplating a further splurge moderate purchase, because it turns out that like 75% of British women I am wearing the wrong size stays and must, perforce, have a splurge invest in some more.

I think the GP might have been my first and last foray into fanfic (apart from Spiro's, which I read from behind GreatAunt Agatha's ostrich feather fan) and I abandoned it quickly because it was so illiterate.

Twiggy's link this morning to the pogonology thread did not take me to our little caption competition, so I'm going to go and look for that now. I leave you with this hirsute heaven.

SupermassiveLBD · 01/09/2011 21:52

Hah! And me barely able to summon up as much as a B cup, at the best of times It's discrimination, that's what it is.

PassTheTwiglets · 01/09/2011 22:03

Really, Maud? I wonder why? It was on Page 7 if it took you to the thread but not the right page. If that still doesn't work, type "the exits to my bedroom" into the search box, with my name :o

LadyD, no not a real episode. And you MUST see Spooks!!! That's an ORDER, young lady! Actually, it was brilliant right from the start, even without Lovely Lucas.

Massive, when even Bravissimo look at you and say "I'm not sure we have anything in your size" that's depressing too :)

PassTheTwiglets · 01/09/2011 22:05

Just checked my link and it works when I click on it - it starts about 8 posts down...

LadyDamerel · 01/09/2011 22:12

Having spent nearly 10 years refusing to watch Spooks I think LordD will have me committed if he sees it in my not-so-secret video stash. I've already had a 'FFS, you're obsessed Hmm' comment over RH, Spooks will be one step too far.

Although he is away for 8 days in October....

DumSpiroSpero · 01/09/2011 22:25

Go on Lady D - You know you want to! Grin

Actually - perhaps he could take a trunk. Sometimes I feel like I'm the only sane one in my family. Have got Miss S on permanent drama queen mode, have managed to argue with both Mr S and MIL today over cornflakes (don't ask!) and my own mum told me I should be 'starting to slow down a bit at your age' Shock!

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 01/09/2011 22:47

Thanks, Twiggy. Your link took me to page 7 but it didn't have those posts on it - maybe we have MN set up differently, so the pages don't match? Anyway, it was good to be reminded of how amazingly witty and droll we are. As if we needed reminding.

And in other news. I have just had a mild outbreak of SMFV and have noticed (if you're still interested, Spiro) that the John Simm Crime and Punishment dvd has plummeted in price from £20-odd to less than a fiver. And

::fanfare of trumpets::

I at last have tickets to go and see the magnetic Kevin as poor old, much misunderstood Richard III. Tra la!

DumSpiroSpero · 01/09/2011 22:56

Ta Maud - am still planning to read/watch C&P, but delivery time of that dvd with Amazon is 1-2 months!

OP posts:
SupermassiveLBD · 01/09/2011 22:57

Oh,Maud, fantabuloso! I hope you are now making a banner that reads

It's our Richard's turn next.

No of course I know you are not, it would be the height of bad manners. I have seen some pics in the press and it looks good. Am loving their Lady Anne Neville, she looks just as I'd pictured her from The Sunne in Slendour

SupermassiveLBD · 01/09/2011 22:58

or even splendour. It's all this talk of mine of small bosoms

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 01/09/2011 23:03

Oh, I hadn't noticed that, Spiro. I should get mine just in time for the chill winter evenings, anyway.

I'm glad you're there, Massive. I was just dusting in the farthest, dingiest corners of the basement and found a little curiosity which has no coherent plot, but some .

DumSpiroSpero · 01/09/2011 23:05

When are you seeing R3, Maud (and didn't you mention a forthcoming birthday Hmm)?

OP posts:
ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 01/09/2011 23:05

And quite about the slender and the embonpoint or lack thereof. There was one young lady in the shop who was very slender with humungous ::censored:: but I reckon they had been surgically enhanced.

SupermassiveLBD · 01/09/2011 23:09

Oh blimey Spiro, poor you. Beset on all sides. I think you deserve

Have we seen this? He's rather yummy in it.

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 01/09/2011 23:11

Quite soon, Spiro. I'm very excited.

DumSpiroSpero · 01/09/2011 23:16

Lovely gods there - particularly Gizzyvqt 2.02 - that'll do nicely Grin.

Must retire now as long, trying day ahead tomorrow.

Sweet dReAms.
