Whereabouts in France, Maud? And please tell me you meant that Bloke was wearing something instead of Speedos?! :)

LOL @ LadyD's bet :o

Meet-up was lovely! We went for dinner then saw dear Heinzy and then on for drinkies. Everybody was very nice and not at all scary :)

LadyDamerel · 22/08/2011 22:13

RichardArmitage, those ties down the side of each leg aren't quite done up properly. Now please stop this nonsense about being perfectly capable of changing your trousers alone and damn well let me stroke your manly thighs help.

PassTheTwiglets · 22/08/2011 22:13

Small, did you like your present?

PiningForPorter · 22/08/2011 22:13

Pulls JP closer...

..no-one's coming through the space/time continuum and getting their mitts on my man tonight!

PiningForPorter · 22/08/2011 22:14

ROFL at Lady D!!! Grin

LadyDamerel · 22/08/2011 22:14

I am so glad I'm not the only person who thought Bloke was nekkid at the Lido Grin.

LadyVenetia · 22/08/2011 22:19

::Waiting patiently for Massive to reappear::

In the meantime -

KissMeKateEtc · 22/08/2011 22:20

Looks like we all thought Bloke was au naturel at the Lido.

Wink @ PFP

PiningForPorter · 22/08/2011 22:21

ROFL at Kate!!!! Great minds...

PiningForPorter · 22/08/2011 22:21

KissMeKateEtc · 22/08/2011 22:22

Sorry I was a long time changing, i got held up...

PiningForPorter · 22/08/2011 22:23

I bet you did....Grin

At least I can multi-task!!!!

LadyVenetia · 22/08/2011 22:25

I can multi-task too ::glares::

PassTheTwiglets · 22/08/2011 22:27

I don't get it... somebody explain Kate's name for me!

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 22/08/2011 22:28

Err, no. Bloke was not au naturel, but this is the first time that a French piscine which says 'no boardshorts' has actually enforced the rule and so he wasn't allowed to swim. Which, as I said, put me in mind of Lee and his awful Speedos some of our previous learned debates.

So, what else have I missed?

LadyDamerel · 22/08/2011 22:30

Right, I'm feeling a little hot and flustered after all those shenanigans with RichardArmitage's trousers, I ought to go and change, methinks.

TheSmallPrint · 22/08/2011 22:37

I'm off to bed have a very happy birthday Mr A and so lovely to finally meet you.

Twigs thanks for my pressie but if can't open any links so will check it out tomorrow.

Night all. Mwah.

PiningForPorter · 22/08/2011 22:38

Had to be done...

Had better be off myself...just time for

I do like the vid maker's own comment on the second one 'I have no shame'...Grin

KissMeKateEtc · 22/08/2011 22:38

Pourquoi the boardshort allergy? I should have thought they were far more decent than two tiny triangles of spandex.

LadyDamerel · 22/08/2011 22:41

The french don't see boardshorts as 'hygienic' afaik, hence the insistence on Speedos which only just look good on TheMan.

PassTheTwiglets · 22/08/2011 22:44

That was the same linke twice, PFP.

And I'm with Kate - boardshorts are far more preferable to speedos!

I have a new one for our Academy lexicon, thanks to an accidental typo that I had to correct a few mins apo. You know those fanfics/vids/whatever that make you a mixture of Blush and ? Well they are blish. That's a cross between blush and bliss :)

LadyVenetia · 22/08/2011 22:47

cries I just loved John Porter....sob

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 22/08/2011 22:49

Yes, as I understand it, it's because one might have spent all day wandering around town in one's boardshorts and so they might be introducing all sorts of muck into the pristine waters of the pool. Bloke has always got away with it in the past, I think because even the most cursory look would convince anyone that he is not the sort of fellow who would step out onto the street in his boardshorts. Mercifully.

I haven't read all of this thread - although I'm delighted to see that we have at least two lurkers - but if we are mourning the demise of the immortal John Porter, may I

And, what have you done with my dear Mr Thornton while I've been away?
