It is a conspiracy, a conspiracy, I tell you!!! Not only have all my photogRAphs disappeared from my phone, now all my audiobooks have too!! Someone is trying to tell me something :) Having to put htem back on as am not facing 3 nights in a Travelodge family room without them (hi Small!) :)

SupermassiveLBD · 08/08/2011 13:07

Mr Massive always sounds over-complimentary, thats why I always say Mr M Grin

I wonder who can be zapping your phone with antiRA rays, Twigs? The Russians? A descendent of the Sheriff of Nottingham or the PLFW?

Small, fingers crossed for the success of your busy week.

PassTheTwiglets · 08/08/2011 14:44

Massive, maybe the Russians have bugged my phone. As a concerned citizen of this fair isle, I consider it my duty to bring this to the authorities. No doubt Lucas shall have to give me a thorough debriefing.

PassTheTwiglets · 08/08/2011 14:48

They may also have hidden microdots on me. The poor dear will have to search everywhere...

SupermassiveLBD · 08/08/2011 14:49

LOL @ de-briefing Grin

PassTheTwiglets · 08/08/2011 14:55

"I think there's one here, Lucas. Oh, and here.... and here.... and here..."

SupermassiveLBD · 08/08/2011 15:25

Want some help, there, Lucas?

PassTheTwiglets · 08/08/2011 16:06

need... defibrillator...

SupermassiveLBD · 08/08/2011 16:15

Want some help from me, guys?

DumSpiroSpero · 08/08/2011 16:45

You are both very roood!

Not much doing here today - popped into work for a bit, put mini tent up in garden & and sat in there with laptop & Miss Spiro doing her homework for a bit (i.e. I was doing her homework), and have finally finished Far From The Madding Crowd (at last)!

PassTheTwiglets · 08/08/2011 18:10

Oh yes, Dr Track, it would certainly be useful to have all hands on me deck...

TheSmallPrint · 08/08/2011 19:55

I'm feeling a bit fed up today. Don't know why, just am. I need a good holiday. Sad

SupermassiveLBD · 08/08/2011 19:59

Hi Small, can I have a sup of that, too? I am bushed! Too long in the kitchen and not enough time on MN Sad

PassTheTwiglets · 08/08/2011 20:15

Wine for Smally and Massive. Sorry you're feeling down Small - maybe it's 'cos it's the school hols but you're still having to work? You have your holiday at the end of the month to look forward to - keep thinking about that! Mind you, a week away with two kids is never really what you'd call "a good holiday", is it? It's often harder work than being at home.

The DVDs went out today. Hope they will play on your machines ok. Mine works on the regular DVD player and the laptop so should be ok. Am really enjoying BTS, though it is a bit depressing at times.

Massive, at the risk of depressing yourself, remind when the SuperBoys go back to school? Is it horribly far away? You really need a nice long break. Or someone to whisk you away on his :o LOL - I love the fact that it says "no description" on the vid - after all, there really is nothing to say, is there?!

SupermassiveLBD · 08/08/2011 20:26

Is it horribly far away?

Mid September, Twigs Sad

Even watching someone ride his horse cheers me up quite a bit, never mind being whisked away on it. Mind you, judging from that "vid of no description", sitting in front of him might be an interesting experience

DumSpiroSpero · 08/08/2011 21:39

Anyone around? Just watching the riots on News 24 - unbelievable. Shock Sad

SupermassiveLBD · 08/08/2011 21:43

Hi Spiro. I have been following the news from the newpaper websites. Agents provocateurs comes to mind, given the way things go sometimes on the island

TheSmallPrint · 08/08/2011 21:46

i hate to use the word riot, that would imply they had something to be upset about- this is just wanton vandelism and violence Sad

DumSpiroSpero · 08/08/2011 21:51

Have just heard from my mum that my godparents in Croydon are ok and Dad is on the phone to my uncle in Peckham. None of them are in the best of health so hope it doesn't get any worse.

It's kicked off in Birmingham too.

SupermassiveLBD · 08/08/2011 21:58

I do hope all everyone's loved ones are safe. As Spiro said, it's unbelievable

DumSpiroSpero · 08/08/2011 22:09

With the economy going the way it is I would imagine we could have a lot worse to come...

TheSmallPrint · 08/08/2011 22:14

Spiro glad your relatives are OK. It was only a matter of time before it spread to other cities but if you watch the news this isn't adults protesting about the economic climate this is school kids looking for trouble and knowing the police can't touch them without getting into serious trouble. Where the hell are the parents ffs???

DumSpiroSpero · 08/08/2011 22:19

Uncle is not so good apparently. He went out earlier and someone offered him a large brick to throw - he's nearly 72 FGS! His area is full of police in riot gear, barricades and some buildings alight.

He has a caravan in East Sussex and is hoping he'll be able to get away tomorrow.

SupermassiveLBD · 08/08/2011 22:27

Oh goodness, Spiro, poor man, I do hope he can Sad How awful for everyone concerned.

PassTheTwiglets · 08/08/2011 22:45

Oh my goodness, Spiro, how awful!! I hope he gets away ok - keep us posted. I hope Maud is ok - I forget what part of London she is in. On the offchance that you are reading this Maud, please let us know if you are ok!

I am in a real quandary about whether to go tomorrow or not. We would lose so much money and won't be able to do this trip again for moths and the kids would be so disappointed. But is that a good enough reason to take a risk? DrTwigs isn't bothered at all and thinks I'm being daft for worrying but just because it's not in central London now doesn't mean it wont be by Friday...
