I am brain-dead tonight so this is rubbish - just a place-holder. Please do something else if you can think of a decent one!

Oh, this is Torchwood on dvd. They don't seem to have twigged (did you see what I did there) to the current telly Torchwood.

Will go and look at the thread. Meanwhile, you are all invited to my Neil Diamond thread in music but not if you're going to laugh at me.

DumSpiroSpero · 16/07/2011 21:32

I didn't think the clothes were too bad, Twigs - didn't like that camel coloured coat though.

ikwym re Torchwood - but it was never going to be the same without the rest of the team. Is it just me or is Rhys totally wet?

PassTheTwiglets · 16/07/2011 21:34

He looked liked a fisherman in that grey jumper...

Rhys is a bit wet compared to the rest but I quite likew him. I am still carrying a torch for lovely Ianto though :(

Ianto???!!! Shock

Captain Jack all the way for me. Do you remember in the second ever episode of Torchwood when he was teaching Gwen to shoot?

THUD!

PassTheTwiglets · 16/07/2011 21:49

Oh YES Ianto! Not in the ealier series but when he got with Captain Jack he was adorable and yum. Wait, let me find you some evidence... here you go

Everybody remember the fishermen thing 'cos I'm working on something but it's taking me ages :)

SupermassiveLBD · 16/07/2011 21:52

I have seen Capn Jack on Dr Who, though.

SupermassiveLBD · 16/07/2011 21:55

Talking about funny outfits, I have just seen a Sparkhouse sig featuring ''Giorgio Farmani: Fashion for the Farmhand.'' Grin

DumSpiroSpero · 16/07/2011 21:58

The weird thing is Torchwood is supposed to be the programme for 'grown ups' and I love it, yet Dr Who which is supposedly more family orientated terrifies me and I wouldn't watch it if you paid me!

SupermassiveLBD · 16/07/2011 22:02

It's the Daleks probably, Spiro? They always gave me nighmares.

PassTheTwiglets · 16/07/2011 22:03

Hello Lucas, cod I ask you for a dance? The band are playing a lovely old tuna... it's called "Salmon Chanted Evening". Shall we go andget some fresh air? No real reason, just for the halibut* Come on then gorgeous, let's go back to my plaice and you can perch on my lap.

Not tonight dear - I have a haddock...

  • there is a prize if you get that one!

Have just had a go on the toddler art thread.

Someone post a nice vid, please. Bloke is now watching Wallander in Swedish.

::weeps::

PassTheTwiglets · 16/07/2011 22:06

:o

Oh, I hate the 'Tprvchwood is for grown-ups' line they spin. It seems so gratuitous - they take a perfectly child-friendly programme and then just add a few swearwords and suddenly ooooohhhh, it's for grown-ups Hmm

OP posts:
DumSpiroSpero · 16/07/2011 22:08

There were a fair few sexual references I wouldn't fancy explaining to DD in it too Twigs!

SupermassiveLBD · 16/07/2011 22:08

I claim the prize, Twigs, but just for the hell of it Grin

I had a whale of a time reading it of course.

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 16/07/2011 22:11

halibut = hell of it?

Do I get to choose my own prize?

::clears space on carpet::

PassTheTwiglets · 16/07/2011 22:15

LOL @ Maud's own choice of prize! and at your vid there!

Well done Massive and Maud - here is your prize.

Evening ladies. Just a quick pop in to say hello. I couldn't open the CA interview as it needs flash and I don't have it on my phone. Twigs sounds like you had a rubbish day, hope tomorrow is better. I got the Halibut joke btw!

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 16/07/2011 22:24
TheSmallPrint · 16/07/2011 22:25

Oh blimey, I was a bit late with my posting and sea you have all gone a bit mad with the fish references well I can't think of any so I'll just clam up over here.

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 16/07/2011 22:27

Hello, Small.

What can I say? Bad puns. Thy're my

PassTheTwiglets · 16/07/2011 22:29

Evening, Smallio! Oh, jolly good show, all of you!!! Bad fins especially fabulous. It almost makes up for After The Goldfish but not quite. I will let you off that one though as I love the song so much.
