Of course, I am violently allergic to cats...

The only picture we have of the Dean is not overly flattering but in my head he looks a little more like this

Come in, enjoy, help yourself to Twiglets.
Yours sincerely, a Fair Trespasser.

Massive - I'd be delighted if I looked like a turnip in mine!

RoyAl Order of the Turnip!

But it was a long time ago so I guess we'll let him off. Grin

He must absolutely bloody hate seeing those now.

SupermassiveLBD · 31/05/2011 23:05

That photographer wanted shooting.

DumSpiroSpero · 31/05/2011 23:28

this is more like the real me these days (although obviously without the cassock!)

SupermassiveLBD · 31/05/2011 23:30

She got her man ,though, didn't she?

DumSpiroSpero · 31/05/2011 23:41

Indeed, Massive - and what a man!

SupermassiveLBD · 31/05/2011 23:47

Great song too, never heard that one before.

PasstheTwiglets · 01/06/2011 06:05

And I was about to complain about being up before 7!
Here, Twigs, have a little something to cheer you up.

Is Dr Twigs at home today?

PasstheTwiglets · 01/06/2011 07:23

Oh thank you, that did brighten my mood!

DrTwigs is back to work today. I have tons of eBay stuff to post (brand new stuff which sold for 99p, grrr - would rather have given it to the charity shop for that!) so will drag the kids into town later and then maybe have a pottering day. What about you?

OP posts:
DumSpiroSpero · 01/06/2011 07:36

How is kids always know when you have no back up & wake up at silly o'clock?

Day at home today. H off out to play golf later. We are making a model maiasaurus nest (homework), the refurbishing madam's dolls house - woohoo! May pop round & see our friends round the corner later if they're about.

Still haven't listed the first batch of my eBay stuff - really must crack on with it.

TheSmallPrint · 01/06/2011 07:53

Morning you two, Twigs you poor thing, I feel your pain. Although we have had a couple of good nights I suspect I am being lulled into a false sense of security.

Lovely pic there Spiro, certainly makes a change from toast at breakfast.

What thread were you invading last night?

PasstheTwiglets · 01/06/2011 08:37

We had a week of 6.30am waking, Small, which was wonderful but then it all went to pot. I was sure that after a wholr day of walking round the Tower, with no buggy, would tire him out but no such luck. Actually, that's what's so irritating - he is tired and wakes up before he's ready, so he's then whiny and grumpy all day. Much like his mother :)

pMorning Small!

latest thread invasion here!

I love that photo - definitely my favourite at the moment.

How's your head today?

TheSmallPrint · 01/06/2011 09:07

Well seeing as we practically have twins Twigs, it's no surprise that they sound very similar! Hopefully tonight will be better, I will send medised sleepy thoughts to Master Twigs.

Off out for a meeting soon and will have to be brave about chasing unpaid invoices.

TheSmallPrint · 01/06/2011 09:08

My head is fine so far Spiro, I was at the computer all day yesterday so it was a tension headache. I am out a bit today so hopefully it won't be so bad.

I'm off to look at your thread invasion..

SupermassiveLBD · 01/06/2011 10:47

Hello, ladiez.! I have made my contribution to the other thread-- I hope I gave everyone a laugh. though I was quite serious, really! Grin

I remember those days of criminally early mornings. Now I can't get my two out of bed. Annoying when they have begged you, the night before, to get them up at 6. 30 a.m., , so you set your alarm, drag yourself out of bed, then spend two hours trying in vain to winkle them out of their pits.

TheSmallPrint · 01/06/2011 14:29

Is it me or has the font changed? Confused

You lot cheated! At least I tried to give a bit of variety. Grin

SupermassiveLBD · 01/06/2011 15:04

If there is anyone who hasn't got Lords of the North, there is an extract

Listen, and disintegrate forthwith!

PasstheTwiglets · 01/06/2011 15:12

I just did a proper list too, Small :)

Re. your link - I got literally 2 seconds into the clip and MissTwig's ears perked up and said "I know that voice!!" So I will leave it 'til later - looking forward to hearing it though, thanks for the link.

Font looks the same to me, Smallio.

DumSpiroSpero · 01/06/2011 15:23

I'm beaming from ear to ear after hearing that Massive. We definitely need to petition one of the big audio book producers to get him to do Beowulf, unbridled in the original Olde English.

Wouldn't be able to understand a word of it but who cares?! Grin

SupermassiveLBD · 01/06/2011 15:23

Grin @ the thought of a generation of kiddies conditioned like Pavlov's dogs, to react to a certain Voice.

There is one of his RH audiobooks on YT too,

Strange, but nice, to hear Guy say new things, and to hear the Man talking about him...

I have to listen later, too, as I have some RL things I must do Sad

SupermassiveLBD · 01/06/2011 15:25

I am beaming too, Spiro, luurve that Voice

PasstheTwiglets · 01/06/2011 15:40

OMG, I forgot all about the RH audiobooks! You are right it is really strange to hear him read as Guy! I wonder why that is?

get him to do Beowulf

Spiro, I think you forgot a strike-out word there? :o
