Of course, I am violently allergic to cats...

The only picture we have of the Dean is not overly flattering but in my head he looks a little more like this

Come in, enjoy, help yourself to Twiglets.
Yours sincerely, a Fair Trespasser.

It's Twigs who is the risotto expert...I'm sure I could think of a few ways to keep him entertained though Wink

DumSpiroSpero · 21/05/2011 17:19

X post!

SupermassiveLBD · 21/05/2011 17:27

Mind you, we could all be forestalled by the Rapture. I don't think I count as one of the righteous by any srtetch of the imagination.

As a footnote, don' t these nutters earnest religical types ever feel a bit silly when their predictions of Doomsday prove wrong yet again ?

Apparently the same guy predicted the end of the world for 1994.

Clearly he is not too worried about making an arse of himself.

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 21/05/2011 17:33

I am assuming, Massisve, although I could of course be wrong yet again, that as he has just emerged from the surf he has removed his socks and sandals. Anyway, we'll let Small be the judge.

We're all in a State of RApture

SupermassiveLBD · 21/05/2011 18:33

Now that interpretation of the word I would sign up for tout de suite

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 21/05/2011 18:34

Is the world going to end or is the earth going to move?

SupermassiveLBD · 21/05/2011 18:45

With Rapture, the former and with RApture, the latter, I should think, Maudie.

PasstheTwiglets · 21/05/2011 19:03

Maud/Small, are you watching DrWho?! First we had the Tardis radio playing Supermassive Black Hole (is that what it's called?) and now I've just realised who one of the actresses is - Carol from Sparkhouse! Spooky!

OP posts:
TheSmallPrint · 21/05/2011 19:44

Funnily enough Massive, I was about to say something similar. Gosh Mr Jackman is very fit isn't he.

TheSmallPrint · 21/05/2011 19:52

Yes we watched it Twigs, we all clocked SMBH too. Didn't realise it was Carol though, we were too busy realising that the bloke was from Ashes to Ashes.

DumSpiroSpero · 21/05/2011 20:01

Did you watch the Soap Awards the other day? In the audience were Laila Rouass, Jessie Wallace, Brenda Blethyn & the guy who played her son in BtS who is now in Emmerdale. I was round a friend's watching it and she was ROFL as I kept coming up with all these tenuous connections!

Fortunately we've known each other since we were toddlers so she didn't call the men in white coats Grin!

SupermassiveLBD · 21/05/2011 20:01

This is the link, if anyone's interested in watching the telethon online. Just over two hlours to go before it starts.

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 21/05/2011 21:36

No, I didn't watch Doctor Who, although Girl did. I don't think she'd have noticed the .

That link won't let me watch - says navigation has been cancelled - but I don't think I can face watching .

Wine anyone?

SupermassiveLBD · 21/05/2011 21:47

Did you notice what the people giving donations were saying, in the column on the left of the screen? Grin

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 21/05/2011 21:48

No.

::Goes back for a rummage::

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 21/05/2011 21:49

Oh mercy.

SupermassiveLBD · 21/05/2011 21:51

Ooops! Grin

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 21/05/2011 21:55

It's good to think of that that fervour being channelled into something good!

SupermassiveLBD · 21/05/2011 22:12

Good world publicity for NZ! I can watch the show from here though I shan't last much longer. Just local stuff on now and very interesting to hear the Maori language being spoken.

DumSpiroSpero · 21/05/2011 22:27

Thanks for the link Massive. I am gobsmacked to have been able to watch some of it live on my phone!

Grin or should that be at some of the comments. Still whatever inspires donations to a good cause is no bad thing.

SupermassiveLBD · 21/05/2011 22:35

Comments seem to have been masked now by general donations!
Or so I thought, but another has just popped up Blush

SupermassiveLBD · 21/05/2011 22:58

Oh Blush Now they've taken over the chat window Blush
