Strangers are friends you just haven't met, yet. Even when they are baddies and drive science-fiction-y submarines, wearing a smart grey lounge suit.

Wait till they start producing holodecks, Smallster. Now there would be a thing...

Oh my posting has gone to pot today.

I will review the clips tomorrow too instead of working.

SupermassiveLBD · 09/05/2011 22:25

::Weeps for Freddie::

I saw them live at Wembley, you know.

::Weeps for lost youth::

TheSmallPrint · 09/05/2011 22:29

Smallboy and I were warbling bohemian rapsody in the car yesterday.

SupermassiveLBD · 09/05/2011 22:30

All that music is classic now, isn't it, as much as Beethoven and Mozart.

LOL at you lot tonight! And ooooooooohhhhhhhh, Maud, your "hotter than July" pic wins the Oscar tonight. Yummers.

Spiro, that's amazing what the previous teacher said about your DD!!

To answer your question about DD, Maud, and then will shut up about it as am sure am very boring, teacher meant slow as in 'not working quickly enough'. Other than with maths, DD is very bright and I think the teacher expects everything she does to match her intelligence level, iyswim. but that is completely ridiculous - just because you can tell a brilliant story with loads of great language doesn't mean you can handwrite a story beautifully. That is a VERY good point you all had about asking what teacher plans to do to engage her more. Oooh, I wish I'd thought of that earlier!! Anyhow, that's enough grumbling, let's get back to the prettiness

Have we seen this before?

Massive I would be lost.

PassTheTwiglets · 09/05/2011 22:39

Oh and, not that it's relevant anymore, but I finally remembered what I saw Monsieur Spacey in - Moon For The Misbegotten. I am such a Spacey fan.

SupermassiveLBD · 09/05/2011 22:39

Ol' Bry was working the FWS there, Maud...

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 09/05/2011 22:41

I think we have, Twiggy. Poor boy. It seems rather cruel to keep dredging that up. The internet, like an elephant never forgets.

::Breaks out in cold sweat::

I'm so glad you liked Hotter Than July - I am having a Stevie Wonder moment at the, umm, moment.

SupermassiveLBD · 09/05/2011 22:42

Don't worry Small, I would send out search parties for you if you got lost in the holodeck because i want to borrow your characters for myself

Actually, Massive, have you looked at, ahem, Mr May's profile? There are, ahem, similarities in the nasal giftedness.

Absolutely! I was always slow like that as I was a bit fanatical about the presentation side of things. By contrast DD tends to rush everything so where starts neat with correct spelling rapidly degenerates and I know she's only in Year 1 but I can't get head around it and it drives me nuts!

And breathe...!
