Strangers are friends you just haven't met, yet. Even when they are baddies and drive science-fiction-y submarines, wearing a smart grey lounge suit.

I am simultaneously watching Alexander while doing the ironing and MNing.

What do we think of men in leather miniskirts?

PassTheTwiglets · 09/05/2011 22:48

Bed and Lord Rule are calling - night all!

PassTheTwiglets · 09/05/2011 22:49

What do we think of men in leather miniskirts?

Don't fancy yours much, Maud.... :)

SupermassiveLBD · 09/05/2011 22:50

I was too busy looking at Freddy's teeth to notice Mr May's nose

The hair was rather reminscent of third season Gizzy, though...

Twigs I knew what your Queen song would be before I opened it - that's my fave too!

So much so that I had it playing the first time I took DD out for the day on my own, got a bit carried away singing along and ended up with a speeding fine & 3 points as a memento!

(I hasten to add that I was doing about 36 in a 30 zone - not doing Stig impressions with 4 month old baby in back of car)

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 09/05/2011 22:53

Freddie was certainly very gifted dentally.

I'm not proposing to share mine, Twiggy.

::Swings reticule in a menacing manner::

DumSpiroSpero · 09/05/2011 22:53

What do we think of men in leather miniskirts?

Quicker than trousers Wink

And on that note, sweet dreams all!

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 09/05/2011 22:54

::grin:: at Spiro as the Stig.

SupermassiveLBD · 09/05/2011 22:56

LOL @Twigs, Maud and the leather miniskirts. Not the best of costume quality. Talk about suffering for one's art.

OP posts:
DumSpiroSpero · 09/05/2011 22:57

Believe me, there is no way you could mistake my car for anything the Stig would drive. Even Captain Slow would think twice before taking it for a spin but I'm very fond of my 'Triple P'!

SupermassiveLBD · 09/05/2011 22:59

Ah, Spiro, one has to admire your practicality..

Shouldn't you have said ''and on that uplifting note''?

OP posts:
DumSpiroSpero · 09/05/2011 23:02
Grin
ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 09/05/2011 23:08

Once again the tone of the conversation plummets

SupermassiveLBD · 09/05/2011 23:10

Changing the subject, have we had ?

all together...

::Comes out of throat-kissing reverie::

So, is JP a good man sent by God? I must ask the vicar about that, next time I am serving the lapsang souchong and cucumber sandwiches. And it starts with the Caravaggio.

SupermassiveLBD · 09/05/2011 23:28

I think the ''good man...'' line is a quote from Strike Back Maud, not our personal verdict. Although...

Nice vid, your last, though why did they include extraneous material? Confused

OP posts:
SupermassiveLBD · 09/05/2011 23:31

And on which, er, note, I shall have to say goodnight --early start for me tomorrow.

Sweet dreams, Maudie and anyone else watching and wondering at our sanity

OP posts:
ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 09/05/2011 23:31

Yes, that's what I assume - I would guess it's said by the nun - but is it true? (I think you have watched SB, haven't you?)

::Ponders the nature and meaning of truth, as you do::

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 09/05/2011 23:33

Good night, my dear. I must give fuller attention to Philip of Macedon (although he has just met a particularly gory end).

And good night to anyone peering in at our parallel universe.

SupermassiveLBD · 09/05/2011 23:47

I don't feel qualified to offer an opinion on the goodness or otherwise of JP. We shoudl ask the others I think, as I have only watched SB once.

OP posts:
ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 09/05/2011 23:50

::Looks back at you::

Perhaps, ahem, repeated viewings are necessary, in order to evaluate his guns claim to moral goodness?

::Goes in search of Mr Thornton and the timeshare FWN*::

*Floppy White Nightshirt

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 10/05/2011 00:50

::Tiptoes back in to leave ::

Look, Twiggy, two for the price of one.

TheSmallPrint · 10/05/2011 07:37

Yes JP is a good man at heart but he's also a trained killer which kind of puts a dampner on the good! Grin. He's certainly worth ogling watching.
