Well, this should guarantee us some visitors if it comes up on 'Most Active'.

one for the mantelpiece

Ok, the next 2 aren't John Standring, but it would be rude not to...

Spiro had a twitter hug at 5.50am?????

SupermassiveLBD · 24/03/2011 11:51

I think the hug came later, Small Grin

DumSpiroSpero · 24/03/2011 12:19

I'd been up for about 20 minutes when I posted that. Twitter hug has indeed kept a smile on my face for the rest of the morning though.

Hello!

Didn't want to be absent for so long but went out with DH unexpectedly last night (parents babysat) and yesterday and today has seen our bathroom being ripped apart - intentionally, I should add - so I've been carting rubble to and fro and generally not having a minute to myself.

Golly, what a lot of lovely Lucas photos you found last night! They were all gorgeous. I thought he looke quite like Dr Alec in this one

Anyway, must dash - back later!

SupermassiveLBD · 24/03/2011 12:31

Oh, Twiggy! Bathroom remodelling! Sad That out-trumps guests, especially as mine are out for another hour or so.

DumSpiroSpero · 24/03/2011 12:55

Have got Spooks 9.4 on - Lucas & Dimitri abseilling down the Chinese Embassy dressed like Milk Tray men - phwoooar!

DumSpiroSpero · 24/03/2011 13:12

Ok it's not great but it is a new pic nonetheless!

From CA wearing glasses over the woman's left shoulder as you're looking at it.

dressed like Milk Tray men Grin

So that is the smart grey suit we saw before. Hmm.

TheSmallPrint · 24/03/2011 15:36

Oh blimey they've given him horrid glasses too. I know, I know he can't be made to look like the sexy hero in everything but still.

DumSpiroSpero · 24/03/2011 15:43

I don't think he looks too bad, but then I'm not fussy fairly open minded on the looks front

OP posts:
TheSmallPrint · 24/03/2011 16:09

Arrghhh wheres my post?????

Right, well, what I was saying was, I am a fussy mare and don't like to try too hard to find someone attractive. Grin I just spent ages looking for that Lucas pic where he wears glasses but can't find it anywhere.

DumSpiroSpero · 24/03/2011 16:53

I know what you're saying, Small but I like the fact he doesn't always look so hot.

makes him seem more potentially attainable

DumSpiroSpero · 24/03/2011 17:55

speccy Lucas

Went straight to the right episode on the screencaps website - not sure if it was lucky or if my subconscious is as sad as the rest of me!

PassTheTwiglets · 24/03/2011 18:00

Small, did I read that you'd done something to your foot/ankle? I missed how but hope it's not too ouchy!

Massive, the bathroom thing is fine thanks - I think your week sounded far more tiresome! It was just the initial horror of having the wall knocked down and the rubble involved that was annoying. But it's just the little downstairs loo and we still have our proper bathroom upstairs so it shouldn't be too bad.

when are they going to put a 'completely bonkers' emoticon on here

There already is one - you have to type [Spiro] to get it. Heh-heh-heh...

SupermassiveLBD · 24/03/2011 18:41

Grin at the bonkers emoticon, I would make heavy use of it too.

Glad the bathroom saga isn't too traumatic Twiggy, I was having visions of no baths for weeks and very unsavoury things involving buckets.

Just managed to flick the TV on for a mo., in between guest activity and guess who popped up, luscious in leather?
''Have you any idea what I've been thinking and feeling''
Well, Gizzy, my pet, she is a stupid girl, I guess she isn't too well up on empathy either.

I hope he has no idea of what I have been thinking and feeling...

I think Lucas looks gorgeous in those glasses, they have to work really hard, you know to make him look un-hot, Only about 5% of his pics, as opposed to 95% incandescent. And well done Spiro for the quick location of said speccie pic, you are truly an Emeritus Professor of Armitage.

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 24/03/2011 19:24

Evening all.

Twiggy - Explain your bathroom project. You've had the wall of the downstairs loo knocked down, thus creating an open plan loo? What a thought.

And those pics of Lucas are all very well (although the less said about the welders' goggles the better) but when did we last look at a proper gentleman?

::Realises that most of the ladies around here would prefer an improper gentleman::

SupermassiveLBD · 24/03/2011 19:40

I think you have hit the nail on the head Maud. Mr Thornton is an absolute honey, but speaking personally a little soupcon of raunch is sometimes all that gets me through a dull and frustrating day. And raunch is what I got this evening, all unexpectedly. You should have seen him run up those steep castle steps. Wowza.

TheSmallPrint · 24/03/2011 19:51

I'll take either Maud [spiro]. Hahaha Im going to use that all the time now.

Spiro, that's the pic, I thought it was in Spooks 7 and spent ages ogling looking for it. My point was that he can still look hot even with - as Maud puts it - welder's goggles on but those glasses in CA were just .

TheSmallPrint · 24/03/2011 19:55

Twigs thanks for your concern. Foot still very painful and now side of foot and leg hurt too from trying not to walk on my bad foot! Oh well.

Did you take any 'before' photos of the bathroom? It would be good to see how you transform it.

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 24/03/2011 20:08

Ah well. At least CA looks as if it has proper tailoring.

(Realises that this too will cut no ice with ladies who prefer their gentlemen to be clad head to toe in leather if clad in anything)

For me what's important is not the depiction of raunch so much as the tantalising suggestion that raunch may be, ahem, possible. In which department, Mr Thornton is by no means lacking.

::Hopes nobody notices her kicking a rather crumpled cravat under the chaise longue::

SupermassiveLBD · 24/03/2011 20:17

Now there's a title for one of those naughty Victorian novels.
Cravats and Dust Bunnies

And Guy at least rarely does anything raunchy intentionally, it's just a side-effect of the outfit. Oh the view from behind as he stalks along one of those corridors in his stompy boots.

TheSmallPrint · 24/03/2011 20:18

Well yes, the suit fits well, I'll give you that. Maud I agree and that picture certainly gives one a glimpse of what might happen later, but there is also plenty something to be said for the display of Big Guns.

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 24/03/2011 20:28

But, Small, I know that the big guns are there, so have no need of a vulgar and obvious display.

::stuffs a floppy white shirt (slightly crumpled) behind the cushions and sits down firmly on the chaise longoo::

::peeps coyly from behind great aunt Agatha's ivory fan::

TheSmallPrint · 24/03/2011 20:29

anyone for a Wine ?

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 24/03/2011 20:31

Oooh, yes please.

::Proffers bucket glass::
