Well, this should guarantee us some visitors if it comes up on 'Most Active'.

one for the mantelpiece

Ok, the next 2 aren't John Standring, but it would be rude not to...

yummy!

UMN Rector!

Ooops. I mean Much, not Alan.

TheSmallPrint · 29/03/2011 16:35

Twigs that would be sooper dooper, can't take them out of school and also trying to co-incide with nanny's hols. Likely to eurostar or drive as Mr Small doesn't mind. I think I can hear the R as I'm used to the accent at home!

Maud, I would do exactly that but I would tell them that's what I'm going to do unless they get it sorted pronto.

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 29/03/2011 16:38

Your link doesn't work, Spiro, but I need him to stand guard outside my parents' house, keeping the villains and footpads away, and I need him to ask why, if this telly is no longer being manufactured, the store still has it on display and is still accepting money for it? Actually, he doesn't even need to do that. He just needs to persuade someone there to pick up the phone, as I'm still waiting for their operative to call me.

TheSmallPrint · 29/03/2011 16:42

Does anybody else want to slow that vid down so they can get the full glory of each clip? Or is it just me?

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 29/03/2011 16:42

Yes, that's my plan, Small, but all the more reason why I need actually to speak to someone there. Grr.

Girl has just come into the room rolling her eyes because Rageh Omaar and Stephanie Calman are discussing The Hobbit on A Good Read and it's quite clear ::Girl sighs with all her accumulated wisdom:: that they haven't read it properly and ::she sighs again:: they don't really understand it. Roll on the premiere.

TheSmallPrint · 29/03/2011 16:45

Don't phone Maud, write it on a piece of paper, wrap it round a rock and hurl it through the window. They may get the message then. And take Porter for back up in case they chase you down the road.

TheSmallPrint · 29/03/2011 16:46

at this rate you will be waiting another 18 months at least before The Hobbit is premiered.

PassTheTwiglets · 29/03/2011 16:48

Small, I know SmallBoy Minor is under 7 but is the other one? (I need to know if he's under 7, 7 to 12 or over 12)

And yes, SB3 is too fast - it fits really well with the music that way but it's not very easy to watch. I must study SB1 and SB2 for reference. SB1 was my first real introduction to the Wonderful World of Fanvids.

Ah, bless GardenGirl, that's quite sweet! She does sound wise beyond her years...

TheSmallPrint · 29/03/2011 16:49

He was 7 earlier this month Twigs.

DumSpiroSpero · 29/03/2011 17:08

I downloaded a sample of the Hobbit to my kindle app last week and I must admit it's more readable than I thought.

I have no idea whether Girl is correct, or not. It was just the way she rolled her eyes and castigated them for not properly understanding her favourite book that amused me. At the rate filming is progressing, she'll be able to go to the premiere even if it's an 18 certificate.

Hmm. I'm not sure I'll be following Small's advice to the letter. I don't want to go back to prison.

TheSmallPrint · 29/03/2011 17:24

Don't tell me you wouldn't want to be locked in a cell with Soldier Boy Maud? you know you want to...

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 29/03/2011 17:30

I know nothing about Soldier Boy (although I suspect that I have now seen Strike Back, in much the way that Eric Morecambe played the piano - all the clips (notes) but not necessarily in the right order). I'll settle for being locked in the scullery with Mr Thornton, a bottle of Madeira and a fancy tin of ratafia biscuits.

DumSpiroSpero · 29/03/2011 17:30

Oh, I don't know, Gizzy caged and in chains got me going more than I would have expected him to Grin!

Am now considering buying S3 RH first and working backwards.

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 29/03/2011 17:30

Don't you have a building to build today, Small?

PassTheTwiglets · 29/03/2011 17:44

LOL at the comparison with Eric Morecambe playing the piano!

Spiro, He is pretty yummy in S1 & 2 - I haven't seen 3 yet but I don't think I will like him as much.

The Hobbit pales compared to LOTR, for me. But it's not bad - I'm about a 3rd of the way through my re-read atm.

TheSmallPrint · 29/03/2011 17:46

Are you trying to tell me something Maud?

PassTheTwiglets · 29/03/2011 17:58

Tell you what, I wouldn't fancy going into any building what Small has architected since SB3 was out. Is that a supporting wall? Oh, whatever, I'm sure it'll be fine, just bung it in... now then, Mr Porter, where were we?

TheSmallPrint · 29/03/2011 18:03

That about sums up my work today Twigs, probably a wise move to avoid post 28th March Architecture! Grin

SupermassiveLBD · 29/03/2011 18:15

Hello again all. What can I say but a general LOL. How busy you've been since I went away. Spiro seems in fine form, but then so does everyone else.

I need to watch SB3 again a couple of hundred times but with everyone around I better not be caught slavering over Gizzy caged and in chains etc. It might blow my cover as a respectable wife and mother and reveal me for the shameless strumpet that I am

Maud, how frustrating, if horribly typical, about your telly. We'll just have to send Gizzy to punish them. Unless you think they might find that enjoyable like I would Grin

SupermassiveLBD · 29/03/2011 18:25

Re RH3. Twigs, I thought I wouldn't like him so much as in 1 and 2, but for some reason I did. Anyone have any theories as to why, given I am not much of a fan of long flowing locks?

TheSmallPrint · 29/03/2011 19:04

Maybe it was the dirty babe look Massive, well that and the regular tying up. Wink

SupermassiveLBD · 29/03/2011 19:07

But Small, I don't like the dirty babe look, as a rule. I don't even like stubble

He's put a spell on me, hasn't he?

TheSmallPrint · 29/03/2011 19:14

Must just be the tying up then! Grin

SupermassiveLBD · 29/03/2011 19:22

It's just Guy, plain and simple
