That Brian Cox has such a way with words!

TheSmallPrint · 20/03/2011 22:09

Twigs have you not heard of Photoshop? Wink

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 20/03/2011 22:11

Oh, well, we're just grateful round these parts to see the moon at all, wot wiv the pea-soupers and the urban decay.

Small, PLEASE!!! I have seen your photos and you are a third of the size that I am And by 3rd, ofd coruse I mean 6th

And I can safely say I'm bigger than either of you (tis an old pic on.the profile). If RA's quote about having a crush on Dawn French has any bearing on the truth I could be in luck - you know the episode of Dibley where she dyes her hair blonde? That's me...but with curls!

TheSmallPrint · 20/03/2011 22:11

maybe we should all go and see CA when it comes out? How funny would that look?! Grin

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 20/03/2011 22:17

::Has jaw wired::

I was thinking earlier that I hadn't seen this vid for ages and lo, right on cue, Spiro mentions .

SupermassiveLBD · 20/03/2011 22:17

Groan! What do you do when your guests have guests?
Poor Gizzy didn't get a look-in today, I hope someone else was taking care of him. Thanks for the pic and vid, will try to have a squint later.

I shall imagine myself into a suite at Claridges now, to relax, with champers, chocs strawberries and maybe some other fruit. Nice.

On a serious note, sorry to hear of sick mums etc, the powers that be forget they will be older and iller themselves one day

CA is a definite, for me!!

Spiro, no way - I will win. Size.... rhymes with 'plenty' . On a good day.

:o : spreadsheet - you may start at Johnny Ball and work forward from there.

TheSmallPrint · 20/03/2011 22:21

Oh poor Massive! Repeat the mantra 'This too will pass'!

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 20/03/2011 22:21

::Waves at Massive::

::Waits impatiently for Massive::

PassTheTwiglets · 20/03/2011 22:22

Here you go, Massive

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 20/03/2011 22:25

Johnny Ball? Johnny Ball? Now my mind is so blown that I can't even work out what CA is.

::Wonders if that is The Hobbit translated into Elvish::

Oh mercy. You mean Captain America.

And I am not going to post my dress size on the internet (even if I do take the square root and subtract five for luck).

SupermassiveLBD · 20/03/2011 22:27

Now that is what I call room service, ladies. Grin

It was okay, lots of chat, plenty of laughs, but tiring and I needed my MN and Gizzy fix.

PassTheTwiglets · 20/03/2011 22:29

Re. Johnny Ball - I was very young, Maud :)

Re. posting dress sizes - I must say, I'm not entirely sure what led me to do that! A mixture of Wine and knowledge that you are all thinner than me :) And seriously, what does it matter anyway?! You are all fantastically amusing and intersting women and I couldn't care less what you all look like.

TheSmallPrint · 20/03/2011 22:32

Maud I don't expect you to, you are an international woman of mystery to me Grin.

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 20/03/2011 22:32

That's very kind of you, Twiggy, but I'm still booking the botox or else you'll realise I'm old enough to be your grandma. And I guess by your benchmark my first crush was another hero in uniform.

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 20/03/2011 22:33

::snort:: at the idea of being the female equivalent of Austin Powers!

PassTheTwiglets · 20/03/2011 22:35

They freaked me out, Maud - a bit too Uncanny Valley for me! See that's the good thing about being fat - cuts down on the wrinkles :o

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 20/03/2011 22:37

Indeed, Twiggy. They say you can either keep your figure or your face. So why have both of mine collapsed, then?

PassTheTwiglets · 20/03/2011 22:40

I never really had either to start with, Maud - it cuts down on a lot of expectations :)

DumSpiroSpero · 20/03/2011 22:45

Well, I'm reasonably happy with my face, apart from wanting it thinner, and I like my eyes - it is my theory that I was given them to distract attention away from my enormous arse! Grin

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 20/03/2011 22:45

Don't misunderstand me, Twiggy. All I mean is to the extent that I ever had a face or a figure, why have both dissolved into a mass of wrinkles?

PassTheTwiglets · 20/03/2011 22:49

LOL, Spiro!!!

I know what you meant, Maud, fret not. Being serious for a moment, I was always happy with my face too, it's just quite a blobby one now :)

SupermassiveLBD · 20/03/2011 22:50

And you think you've got problems, ladies. This is my twin brother.

OP posts:
ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 20/03/2011 22:55

Crikey. You're not ... Eccentrica Gallumbits ... are you? That would enliven any Academy conference.
